Sacramento makes the playoffs! Kinda. Who needs Luka? The Zion hate is starting early as well with people crying the NBA doing anything to get him in the playoffs

The media and fans build you up and then they set you on fire as a sacrifice to the gods of entertainment. I've come around om the NBA just starting with some scrimmages and then the playoffs. You don't need a play-in tourney for those last spots because those are always the most one-sided match-ups. We don't need a week-long series to decide who's gonna eat a sweep to LAC.

Sports fans always been more fickle then wrestling fans All the NBA need is scrimmages. I don't want to hear people like LeBron and CP3 bitching about regular season games. Y'all are vets and will just have to work this rust off the old fashioned way by continuing to ball in and out of practice until you can't anymore.

Seth has been the best thing since sliced bread and the worst thing ever about 3 times each now. And remember when Punk quit to go to MMA and everybody got all salty because the fans are supposed to be the ones done with you before you're done with them? Pretty similar fickleness. Not as systemic, but happens quite often all the same. NBA teams are ready for huge match-ups on opening night while going through the motions in TC and stars playing like 12 minutes in pre-season. Yeah, it's not ideal for top notch playoff basketball, but there is just the biggest extenuating circumstance in...I guess ever, since the NBA's first season was after WW2.

Jericho was the worst thing ever at points and now people can't get enough of him And that's the problem. They can't BS training camp and then think they can get a leisure walk through a few games for them to play 10-15 mins for 5 games. That shows you don't need a bunch of prep time you just want more time.

The Zion hate is starting early as well with people crying the NBA doing anything to get him in the playoffs Zion is the next golden goose, so he's going to get a lot of hate from people who think the league is going to push him above everyone else. With that said, one of the reasons the NBA is thriving is because they unapologetically treat their stars like kings. They protect them at all costs and promote them at all costs. Can't hate on Silver for that. He knows what drives revenue and fan interest. I didn't read the article, but is the 1-16 playoff format still on once the play-in games are finished, or is it still conferences? Or maybe they haven't decided yet.

It helps that talent is very high in the NBA and the stars put up worthy performances to be where they are even if the team gets smoked. It is a star driven league until you aren't a star anymore (see: Blake Griffin) They are talking up to 24 teams or 22 teams with play in games that decide who gets in for East and West

As long as the Spurs make it to the playoffs, I'll be happy.

The man is a better basketball player now but without the dunks cause of them broken knees he isn't a star

According to Lebron’s stalker, Brian Windhorst, the door is kinda open for KD to return in the Playoffs.

Doubt you will ever get KD at 100% again but he should be able to be 85% of what he was. They don't want to blow their whole investment chasing a BS playoff spot and Kyrie not even playing either. Got 3 more years they need him for

Sacramento makes the playoffs! Kinda. Who needs Luka? This BS “playoff” birth is going to buy Vlade more years to destroy the franchise. The only thing he’s done right was lucking into two lottery jackpots, and the only reason he didn’t screw them both up is because someone screwed up worse taking Josh Jackson before DeArron Fox. (Vlade liked DFox, but LOVED Josh Jackson BTW)

Vlade is stealing money from the Kings.

Trust me. I’m well aware. And there’s still a large portion of the fan base that go to bat for everything he does “BEcaUSe hEs VLAdE DIvaC!” and “SUch a KInGs LEgeNd!” It’s both sickening and disheartening.

Motherf***er is not Chris Webber and only averaged ten points per game. It’s been five years and he hasn’t improved anything they’re still a lottery team, why is ownership still patient with him?
