Trust me. I’m well aware. And there’s still a large portion of the fan base that go to bat for everything he does “BEcaUSe hEs VLAdE DIvaC!” and “SUch a KInGs LEgeNd!” It’s both sickening and disheartening. Legend?? Motherf***er is not Chris Webber and only averaged ten points per game. It’s been five years and he hasn’t improved anything they’re still a lottery team, why is ownership still patient with him? Because he’s so Teflon with the fan base for whatever reason it keeps down the formerly ever present loud criticism of being such a shitty franchise. Kings fans still shit all over Pete D’Allesandro for giving away Isaiah Thomas and some of his other shitty moves, I always counter with “What would happen with the fan base if Pete D drafted Bagley instead of Luka?” |

According to Woj, NBA proposing 22 team format for July 31 resumption, and the last possible date for Game 7 of the Finals would be October 12.
If they start 2020-21 season on Christmas Day, that's a very quick turnaround. Probably too quick.

Basically what I been saying since Pandemic started that new season will start on Xmas If the season ends in the first or second week of October, then I don't think Christmas is doable. The players want a 3 week training camp during this pandemic when they just played for 5 months and then got 2+ months off. If you assume a similar 3 week training camp before the start of the 2021 season, then their off season will basically be 2 weeks in October and all of November. That's nothing. Of course the teams eliminated earlier will have more rest, but if LBJ or Kawhi are in the finals, and then have to play a training camp again in 6 weeks, not sure how that would go over. |

Joining the 16 teams will be Pelicans, Portland, Phoenix, Kings, Spurs and Wizards
If the No 9 seed is more than 4 games behind, the No 8 seed will make the playoffs. If the No 9 seed is less than four games back, there will be a play in tourny

Another thing about the play-in - if it happens (the nine team is four games or less behind the eight team), then it's double elimination for the eight team, single elimination for the nine team. The nine team has to beat the eight team twice to make it in, the eight team only needs one win.
