The Raptors lost game 1 to the Magic last season and then wiped the floor with them the next four games. I expect something similar here, but the Bucks are definitely vulnerable against elite teams. The Magic are a scrappy undermanned team, so I’m pulling for them but I’d be shocked if they win another game in this series.

The Bucks offense looked a lot better to start the season. This bubble has them playing like ass. But the more I look at this team, the more they look like those 00s T-Wolves teams or those 00s Cavaliers teams. If you're saying "MAYBE this guy can be our superstar's robin" then you don't have a robin. Middleton is above average, but he's not a Kyrie, a Klay, a Tony Parker. BLo is streaky. Bled is streaky, undersized, and injury prone. Divincenzo is solid, but still needs development. Hill is just a bench guy at this point in his career. They definitely miss Brogdon, but when it comes time to really need s bucket with Giannis off his game, this team looks 10x than you thought. As much as Giannis wants to be a loyal soldier and stay with one team, he's going have to put his foot down and make demands or leave He needs a 2nd player. As I said before a Derrick Rose is a quick fix and one they need to go after but he needs a Beal, Lavine, etc who can draw that attention. Middleton is a guy who can put up 20-25 ppg every night but that's mostly all in the flow of the offense and if we need a basket in crunch time I can't put the ball in his hands and know that he's going to make something happen That's the main issue for the Bucks. Giannis is surrounded by really good shooters, so that compliments his game well, but in a half court setting, they don't have anyone other than him that you can give the ball to and expect to create. Middleton is a good player, but as you said, it's more within the flow of the offensive system they have in place. They click on all cylinders when Giannis is penetrating at will, and dishing out to open shooters. If that doesn't happen, then they are very vulnerable. At the end of the day, they will have the best player on the court in every EC series, so they might be able to overcome the lack of true 2nd star, but they are definitely beatable when they face BOS/TOR in the ECF.

Toronto can clog the paint and frustrate Giannis. They don't have Kawhi to match him up one on one but Toronto itself is a scrappy team and you always have to worry their guards taking charges He'd have an easier time against Boston since they can't stop him. He'd be hurting them worse then Joel is going to but it is all up to the team and how they perform. They have to find their rhythm and get back to defending the three

It's indicative of the bigger problems they'll have contending overall.

I'm fairly sure I just watched Harden hyper-extend his knee by kicking his feet out on a 3 point shot trying to draw a foul.
I will never celebrate an injury, but I will say I shall not cry over his self inflicted pain.

Oladipo gets an eye injury and immediately bails.
If this is about the future, what is it about Indianapolis that basketball players do not want to stick around and play?

This is less surprising then the Bucks game but neither Number 1 seeded team has played like it
LeBron looks like he wasted all his energy in that first game with the Clippers. He is still great in YEAR 17!!! but as I said last season he has lost a step but due to his greatness he is still better then 90% of the league
The main thing is teams don't fear him like they used to

The Lakers have depth issues, and the Blazers might win a game in this series (maybe 2 if Dame goes nuts), but I just don't see the Blazers as a real threat.
