I will absolutely concede that Jackson very likely coached them up in attitude and defensive discipline, but he also thought the best offense was Steph running iso and Klay playing with his back to the basket, and very likely would not have listened to whatever assistant coach suggested the key lineup to Kerr. Mark Jackson deserves credit for making them pros. He disciplined them and that's important but Kerr brought the winning formula and turned them loose. That discipline helped them but his system was trash and not listening to coaches and getting them fired or moved is why he don't have a job nowΒ Mark Jackson was super petty and people never forgot Jackson is a decent coach, but Kerr is one of the smartest, most even-keeled dudes in basketball. He's not Pop, but he's maybe Pop Lite. And it's not just the Splash Bros, he had that bench playing great as well. LeBron's Miami teams lost two Finals when their bench was atrocious. Same with Cleveland. A big weakness of super teams is that they're so top-heavy that it's hard to not get blown off the floor when your 2nd unit comes in. Toronto's depth last year was gigantic. Lakers without Bradley are the same way. Kerr turned a bunch of questionable moving parts into a cohesive unit. Guys like Bogut, McGee when he was at his lowest, Swaggy P, etc. even Livingston ended up looking way more competent that they would have elsewhere when they would be just another body on the Hornets or the Pistons or the Knicks.

Correct. Klay and Steph are great but what goes unappreciated is his work with everyone else. Got Iggy to buy in on being a bench player when he still had enough in the tank to be a starter. McGee, Bogue, Livingston, Speights, Barbosa, Looney, McCaw, West etc are just a bunch of names who played really good ball and knew their roles on the team Kerr without question will hit the HOF as an all around talent. Had a good career, was a good executive, and then became a great coach

Raptors up 3-0....unless the Raptors decide to take a nap, this series is over. Nets too short handed to deal and Vanvleet is playing his ass off Most likely playing his way out of Toronto price tag tooΒ Brooklynβs playing like a team that misses Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

A team that misses their regular players If they had Dinwiddie, DJ, Harris, Prince, and Chandler all rotation players this would be closer. They are basically playing with a role replacement squad

It really feels more like if the Clippers get out of the 1st round, it's not going to be because they are the better team. That BS ejection in Game 1 helped them a lot to win that game and even then it was close. They get handled in Game 2 and PG13 plays poorly. PG13 again comes up short tonight, 3-16 is not going to cut it, and Luka now has an ankle injury. They aren't really proving how good they are, just that they're getting luckier.

But if that is the match-up, Utah would be lucky to see a game 6. Speaking of teams that cannot be looking forward to the next round, Boston has to wish they would have drawn the Milwaukee side of the East.

Utah is playing their best ball while Clippers isnβt but Clippers would still beat them in 6 Dallas is a bigger challenge to Clippers due to their offense but Utah will not score like this forever

Yeah there is no chance the Jazz are a threat to the Clippers. The Mavs are likely the toughest matchup for the Clippers until the WCF.
Paul George has to turn things around, though.

Unsurprisingly, Nick Nurse is the 2019-20 Coach of the Year.
