Everything I ever heard about John Thompson the person was positive. That he was less of a used car salesman and more of a leader of young men. Basketball needs more like who he was.

He went with the intention of trying to raise boys to grown men and obviously was a damn great basketball coach When he yelled at you, you knew you better listen because it was coming from the heart. Can't say the same for a Coach Knight where he taught you to be a better player but the shit he did went overboard

OKC is playing with Heart and Determination. Houston is playing without strippers.
I think Harden is going to shit the bed in Game 7. Dude just wants to go see his girls.

Many can only keep up the facade for recruiting trips and interviews. Thompson was that guy for his entire coaching run and beyond. His character and the character of the guys he helped mold says more than even the Inside the NBA guys ever could, though they did have a nice tribute.

I think in an age now where coaches come and go, he'd still be a steady piece if he was a coach today He went to bat for his players and not because of he wanted them to play but just because he wanted them to be better men. I thought everyone on Inside the NBA having the towel over their shoulder was a nice touch and a great tribute to a great coach Just sad the NBA/Basketball community has had 3 deaths over the last week not counting Chadwick who obviously was big and just part of NBA All Star weekend and helping to celebrate the life of Kobe

The influence of Thompson, Stern, and Kobe alone may have reached the entire community.

If the Rockets do lose Game 7, D'Antoni is likely gone. Been there 4 years, lost in the conference semifinals twice and conference finals and if they lose now if the first round to the team they traded Chris Paul to for Westbrook, trading up in their minds. They lose to that team, D'Antoni is absolutely not coming back.

Utah picked a bad day to not play any defense. Mitchell also to the locker room. They may be cooked.

Raptors are 0-3 against the Celtics in the bubble.
They're 11-0 against everybody else.

And Stephen A in full character being the "bad guy" F*** off It's so funny to watch Stephen A go from the portrayed foil of Skip Bayless to the captain of controversial takes himself. At least wrestling fans know this shit is fake.
