And Stephen A in full character being the "bad guy" F*** off It's so funny to watch Stephen A go from the portrayed foil of Skip Bayless to the captain of controversial takes himself. At least wrestling fans know this shit is fake. It is just dumb Like the man got back into prominence and ESPN thanks to Skip bringing him back to debate because he kept killing Cordell Stewart and folks. It was a funny back and forth because Stephen A got on skip for his Tebow love Since then, has fully embraced the character on TV. Will Cain ended up being the worst imitation of it but he's on like Fox News now

Since then, it's become incredibly thought-out and corporate. They went from covering sports pretty candidly in the 90s. To the 00s hype train pushing while discussing the news of the day and occasionally blowing things out of proportion. To the 2010s just a completely disingenuous, gimmick-laden network that really has nothing for me.

Mavs can lose by 30 but let's show those Luka highlights and his stat line. Everyone has to have a gimmick and you give the same people multiple shows There is no reason Mike Greenberg should have two shows. Jalen Rose is getting another show too

I really think Denver collectively forgot the score on that final series. There was no reason for them to be pushing the ball up the court in the final 10 seconds with a two-point lead and rushing the ball to the basket. I think the entire group on the floor had a collective brain fart, saw a loose ball with the clock ticking down in a close game, and everything just reverted back to instincts.

Nothing can be worse than game 7 Spurs/Nuggets last year when SA down by 4 with 28 seconds left didn't foul and let the Nuggets basically run the clock out.

Raptors are 0-3 against the Celtics in the bubble. They're 11-0 against everybody else. The combination of some horrible officiating (the first half was obviously the refs trying to help Boston) and Marcus Smart's three point shooting made for a bad Game 2 for the Raptors.

Wow we are looking at the serious possibility of the top 2 seeds in the east down 0-2 in their respective series.
Boston and Miami in the EC finals...didn't see that being a very very real possibility.

But Miami is a very bad match-up for Milwaukee. We've been talking about it all year in this thread.

Best way to describe Toronto I heard today was...Overachievers and Boston is so far proving that to be right. I knew Miami would surprise in the playoffs but they are performing at a level I did not even expect out of them especially at the level that would see them eliminate Milwaukee. I can't wait for every analyst to start back peddling on Gianis about him being the MVP lol.

Giannis is great, he just is running against a team most equipped to handle him and his help is....underwhelming at best. Lopez is streaky, Middleton hasn't taken the next step, Bledsoe might be done as a starter in this league pretty soon, George Hill is a reserve on a good team. They miss Brogdon a lot.
