Well tonight's certainly a tough loss for the Clippers, there's no doubt about that. But they'll be able to do plenty in the near future with all that cap space and that bounty of future draft picks...

I’m not betting against this Nuggets team anymore they came back from 3-1 in TWO STRAIGHT SERIES that shit is wild!

Before that garbage time 3, Lou/Kawhi/PG/Morris combined to go 14/58 from the floor tonight (24% FG percentage) tonight. Really inexcusable basketball from a team that should be better. Jokic and Murray meanwhile were absolutely phenomenal.

People were seriously talking about Leonard challenging Lebron James's legacy, please. He was lucky to play with Tim Duncan, and he was lucky to play with a solid Toronto team. He's overrated.

You either need to check Kawhi's résumé or your eyes. He didn't play well tonight, but that's too hot of a take.

I figured this was going to happen tonight after the Clippers blew it two straight games. This has to go down as one of the all time bad chokes in history. I had some interest in Lakers/Clippers in the WCF, but I think we all know Lakers/Nuggets is a squash beat down waiting to happen.
How blah would it be after all this if we just got Lakers/Celtics in the Finals? At least Lakers/Heat gives the storyline of LeBron going against his former team. A part of me kinda thinks the Heat have been the best team in the playoffs, but I have no idea how they would really match up with Davis.

Davis matches up wayyyy better with Jokic than the entire Clips roster did. But Denver is playing lights out basketball rn. I'm rooting for the Lakers and I expect them to win in 6, but I'm very tentative to start calling it a route. Jokic proved tonight that he can take over an entire game while going 5-13 from the field.

That was a chokejob by the Clippers, not much else to say. Kind of strange to see the Raptors and Clippers go out in the same round despite all the offseason hype that one team was lost without Kawhi Leonard.

Jokic and Murray meanwhile were absolutely phenomenal. There's no shame in losing a Game 7 to a tough team and the Nuggets are a team that doesn't just go away. But to not even show up. To just lay an egg like that in a Game 3 after you were up 3-1. For your big players to go 14/58 from the floor. To have spent the whole season acting like they were the champions just waiting for the crown. This is probably the biggest choke job in NBA playoff history. It's not like the Clippers were just some middle of the road team. A TON of respected analysts picked them to win the title and to go out in the second round? Be one thing to go out in the Finals or Conf. Finals, but in the second round? All time choke job.
