Adebayo is due for an extension, but I guess you'd be dealing him to Philly in this scenario. Which I'd hate to see, because he fits Riley and Spo so well. Great defender, great passer, good rim defender, really coming into his own. But I know he's be gone if Miami thinks they can win a title around Butler/Embiid. But then Simmons/Bam becomes an elite defensive pairing. It's like the two teams would flip personalities in some sort of Freaky Friday scenario. I liked some of Brand's moves, but overall the picture now ends up looking a lot worse than a few years ago. They need shooting and could use some wing defense. They'd probably be better off rn with Redick, Shamet, and Covington than Harris and Horford, but hindsight and everything. Bam is everything they want from Embiid without the all around offensive game but he's getting there. He will hustle on defense and is one of the better big man passers not named Jokic. I think if the can get a Bam/Herro or Bam/Nunn combo they'd can make shit happen from there.Β Don't get me wrong, I don't blame Brand for going aggressive as that Butler move could paid off big time but Jimmy being Jimmy ended up having a short stay there. Getting J-Rich in that deal for Butler is going to pay off but they just need better surrounding pieces. The window to contend has closed faster then they thoughtΒ Β Bam and Herro would be a huge haul, and not really unrealistic. They'd really compliment Simmons well, as Bam is great on the pick n roll and has improving range (though not quite a 3pt threat), and Herro is a great shooter capable of creating his own space. You could even move Simmons to point forward if they wanted and have Richardson and Herro in the backcourt and Simmons at the 3 or even 4 on offense, then defend anywhere 1-4 on D.

You could even move Simmons to point forward if they wanted and have Richardson and Herro in the backcourt and Simmons at the 3 or even 4 on offense, then defend anywhere 1-4 on D. Their dream scenario would probably be to get Bam and Herro and you'll have to take on the contract of someone like Solomon Hill who you can trade or cut. Working a 3 team deal would probably be the best way to move additional parts If Simmons isn't going to shoot, you need shooters around him so playing at the 4 is probably the best solution if you want to go unconventional. He can take most 4's off the dribble like he did the 1's and still get his shot in. Get yourself a vet point for the bench or occasional start (maybe Dragic) and you'll have a really good starting 5. Simmons, Herro, Rich, Harris, and Bam. Tho I think Philly would probably rather keep Embiid since he has been the embodiment of the process and move Simmons. Not a lot of options for Simmons tho. Maybe can do a swap for Beal. Outside chance with Denver who can move Murray/Harris but you might run into same problems with Joker/Simmons tho Joker ball IQ is higher then Embiid

Jesus,. After five years of failure, it seems the thing that finally motivated the Suns to start playing is a f***ing pandemic!

The matchups to watch tomorrow are: Spurs/Rockets, Grizzlies/Celtics, Blazers/Mavericks and Suns/Sixers. All of those are tough matchups on paper for the playoff hopefuls and whoever survives out of that might end up with the 8th and 9th seed by Wednesday...

Spurs stomped the Rockets. Itβs unbelievable how much better they look than the regular season Spurs.
Now to see what happens with the Suns, Blazers and Grizz today

But I know Dame will have none of it from anyone involved.

Don't want to see it during a regular season tho

Those fans have suffered for so long, Booker has been unreal, and itβs a great story.

I would love to see them sneak in and just throw up half court prayers and try to pull an upset against one of the LA teams. Probably wouldn't work, but it'd be fun to see.

I think the Blazers ultimately make it and give Lakers a little scare They got the big men to contain the paint and while LeBron has put a ton of energy in defense, I don't see how he will want to chase Dame, CJ around all game and you got Trent Jr and Melo knocking in jumpers as well Western Conference got some interesting matchups coming

The Lakers are just a much better team and unless AD goes down (which is always an option), they should win this in 4/5 games going away. Altho a Whiteside vs Howard/McGee match-up may set the game of basketball back 25 years.

The way Nurkic playing tho we thankfully don't got to see those ass matchups Yeah, it should be easy for Lakers but I have not liked their play. They aren't playing inspired ball outside of that Clippers game and even then they almost gave that away. The Blazers is a series AD should takeover because they most likely put Melo on him and he should make lightwork of that They going need Kuzma to continue good play tho On a side note, I might laugh myself silly if OKC/Hou get matched up like they are now and OKC beats them

When they're leaning on Kuzma, they aren't as good of a team IMO.

The 3rd option should be shared between both of them Kuzma is too inconsistent to be relied upon and he shoots like he thinks he is Devin Booker. They need consistent play from both of them if they want to beat the Clippers in a 7 game series. If AD suffers any type of injury they will be f***ed tho. They can't afford to lose him for any games

Jesus,. After five years of failure, it seems the thing that finally motivated the Suns to start playing is a f***ing pandemic! Hopefully, this is a launching point for them I thought they had a legit chance at a Big 3 in D'Lo, Booker and KAT. With those two in Minny, the Suns should be scared that he would ask for a trade there but Booker seems committed to Phoenix and they have some nice young pieces I like with the obvious being Ayton as well as Carter and Bridges

LeBron would never live it down, the Kobe stans would come out of the woodwork.
