Rondo has seemingly found the fountain of youth the 2nd half of this season + the bubble. He hasn't shown more than a few flashes of looking this good in quite a few years.

I have no idea how the Lakers are still in this game after how inconsistent they have been tonight. On the flipside if someone had said before tipoff with 6 minutes left in the game so far Duncan Robinson,Butler,Hero and Crowder were a combined 6 for 23 from three you would be shocked to find out they are up by 5.

I wonder if LeBron feels for Butler being out there without two of his best teammates being that he's been there, or if he's like "Man, nobody felt sorry for me when I was out there with Matthew Dellavedova and Timofey Mozgov getting our doors blown off by the Warriors. It's my time!"

Jimmy Butler has taken over this game but game still within Lakers reach This is by a wide margin the best Butler has ever played. Weird seeing it in the Finals and thinking he was implied to take a deferred role in Philly.

Regardless of what happens here and it looks like Miami should win now, the Lakers need to run their offense like they did in Game 1 and 2.

The dude since Chicago showed he had it in him to be this player but it just seemed like he wore out his welcome because the teams weren't run how he wants it and they didn't use him like they should have Make no mistake about it, this is Jimmy team with whoever comes in and they better act right cause Riley got the wagon behind him

Very curious to see how the Lakers come out on Tuesday night. They cannot get behind early again.

Which is understandable. Miami didn't have anything to lose to give him what he wanted and he's flourished the whole time there. But he did kind of have the attitude of this tier of player before becoming this tier player. He was a stud in Chicago, but I can't say I entirely blame either of his last 2 spots. Having said all that, Tom Thibodeau must be laughing his ass off rn. Like "I f***in told you, Minny!"

We did not show up for this game...came out flat and had to fight back from multiple double digit deficits and AD did not have a good game and was in foul trouble which completely threw the rhytm off.
Miami just wanted this one more...so like usual Lakers get lazy , get punched in the mouth and usually that is when they wake up so game 4 should be exactly that same pattern.

I can't blame Minny or Philly for saying nah f*** that noise but he's showing that he is a leader and it isn't about him, it is about the team as a hole. In the end, Philly and Minny were just bad fits. Tho Minny should been a great fit but it seems Wiggins has thrown KAT under the bus as the one who didn't like Jimmy recently Thibs is going to run poor Barrett legs off cause he should be like Butler

Miami has better than a puncher's chance if they can get Bam Adebayo and at least 75 percent of Goran Dragic back for game 4 and beyond in this series. But if they can't get either Adebayo or Dragic back in time for Tuesday night, it'll take another Herculean effort by Jimmy Butler again for this Finals to be anything more than a gentlemen's sweep.

Idk, Dragic pain tolerance got to be on 100 if he can back Just stepping is going to make his foot feel like it is on fire but Bam returning is a big boost and Miami best bet is to be aggressive

That was the talk at the time was a struggle for control between KAT and Butler with Thibs being on Butler's side and the FO on KAT's side, knowing that KAT is the franchise. If they built around Butler and alienated KAT, he could easily force his way to a contender and Minny would look stupid. Butler thought KAT was soft and Thibs has never been one to quell a competitor, and probably shared some of Jimmy's sentiment tbf. Barrett is gonna get run like crazy. Thibs is going to expect more of him defensively than he's ever been asked to do as well.
