Miami has better than a puncher's chance if they can get Bam Adebayo and at least 75 percent of Goran Dragic back for game 4 and beyond in this series. But if they can't get either Adebayo or Dragic back in time for Tuesday night, it'll take another Herculean effort by Jimmy Butler again for this Finals to be anything more than a gentlemen's sweep. Idk, Dragic pain tolerance got to be on 100 if he can back Just stepping is going to make his foot feel like it is on fire but Bam returning is a big boost and Miami best bet is to be aggressive Adebayo is definitely the need more than Dragic, as seen by the 34-9-5 and 32-14 that Anthony Davis put up in the Lakers' two victories. Miami desperately needs Bam's presence in the paint or as just a matchup nightmare for Davis. Dragic would be a luxury, there's really nobody that he'd neutralize on Los Angeles (it's not like Caldwell-Pope, Rondo, or Caruso are going to take a game over) and in his current status, he'd be, at best, splitting minutes off the bench with Kendrick Nunn.

The thing is he had that irritable attitude without providing "value". I can't blame Minny or Philly for saying nah f*** that noise but he's showing that he is a leader and it isn't about him, it is about the team as a hole. In the end, Philly and Minny were just bad fits. Tho Minny should been a great fit but it seems Wiggins has thrown KAT under the bus as the one who didn't like Jimmy recently Thibs is going to run poor Barrett legs off cause he should be like Butler I agree. That was the talk at the time was a struggle for control between KAT and Butler with Thibs being on Butler's side and the FO on KAT's side, knowing that KAT is the franchise. If they built around Butler and alienated KAT, he could easily force his way to a contender and Minny would look stupid. Butler thought KAT was soft and Thibs has never been one to quell a competitor, and probably shared some of Jimmy's sentiment tbf. Barrett is gonna get run like crazy. Thibs is going to expect more of him defensively than he's ever been asked to do as well. That whole thing could have and should have been handled better But losing organizations don't know how to make shit work with these type of troubles. Imagine if LeBron threw a bitch fit after Riley said nah, i'm not firing Coach Spo. Riley laid down the law and everyone got in line Wolves didn't have anybody like that. I think maybe if KG lasted another year he would been that voice RJ will improve and has it in him to be great but dude is strangling a fine line between either being T-Mac or Rudy Gay

Dragic was a big time scorer for them tho and doing the same thing Rondo is doing for L.A. He's a big loss but Jimmy just has to do more to pick up the slack for him. Best thing Miami did last two games was start using Olynk more because that keeps Howard and McGee off the floor If the scoring can keep up in Miami they have a chance

I think maybe if KG lasted another year he would been that voiceΒ RJ will improve and has it in him to be great but dude is strangling a fine line between either being T-Mac or Rudy GayΒ Spo is a big black mark for LeBron, and I love LeBron. It wasn't just him being a coach killer, which he has a very deserved rep for. But it's one thing when he gets David Blatt fired or even Luke Walton. But Spo is one of the 4 or 5 best coaches in the league, and doing on hell of a job this year and was highly respected at the time. LeBron is one of the elite minds on the court ever, but he just wants a yes man at HC. That's one thing that separates him and say MJ or Duncan. They also had all time great head coaches and LeBron could win a chip with Frank Vogel. But they always had someone who held them accountable and actually coached them and LeBron seems incapable of accepting that for a long time. It's maybe his greatest failure as a player, along with his Finals record. RJ's shot is not T-Mac's, but his game is more well-rounded and he's a better athlete. His upside is pretty high but he has a long way to go to reach it. As much as everybody said Zion was raw, RJ is far from refined as well.

But Dragic's scoring was on fire in the bubble and the last part of the season before stoppage. Basically like their Ginobili in a multifaceted scorer when their better options are going cold.

His upside is pretty high but he has a long way to go to reach it. As much as everybody said Zion was raw, RJ is far from refined as well. Agreed. LeBron wants a yes man and in his prime he thought he knew better then the GMs and coaches. Don't get me wrong the Cavs in his first run did him dirty giving him an Old Shaq, Larry Hughes, Antawn Jamison etc but LeBron had a bad rep which is why platers didn't want to play with him at first. It took D Wade mentoring him and showing him how to be a leader for things to change and even then, LeBron still has his ways of meddling like his last year with the Cavs when he said they needed a "14th player" for a complete team Yes, Kobe said it is me or Shaq to the FO but when Phil gave him direction he listened. The only player he ever trusted was Fisher which is why they were able to get 2 more rings along with Pau and Odom. The argument was always LeBron never had a HOF coach but I don't think at that point in his career he would have listened The man wanted Pat Riley instead of Coach Spo and Wade straight out told him no you don't. You will hate Pat because I hated him. LeBron never had the respect for coaches because as one of the greatest minds in basketball ever, he thought he knew better but that's beside the point because the coach is there to make the whole team great and not just you

Butler is definitely carrying the offense so far tonight. The Lakers have been much more balanced thus far, which is nice to see.

Well this is a rip roaring start to the quarter for the Lakers. You know things arenβt going your way when Andre Igudolaβs old ass is hitting threes lol.

Bron hasn't blown the doors off yet and Lakers lead going into the half.
idk if that is a good sign or I should be worried...gonna hope that is a sign he was simply conserving himself for the 2nd half but we will see.
Love the more aggressive defense though.

As great as LeBron is, I have never understood why heβs such a so-so free throw shooter.
