The rolling Stones 2? The new led Zeppelin?
A lot of the good ones are gone, any thing good that hasn't been taken yet?

Fugitives From Justice!
Excited Delirium!
Cocaine Psychosis!
These are all terms from work that I've maintained would make great band names.

Are there any well known bands who have shared a name?
Like, I bet there was some minor unsigned band called The Killers before the actual Killers became big, becausr its a generic but good band name.
But any big bands who shared?

I think when a lot of big name classic rock bands like the Rolling Stones, KISS, and Aerosmith get too old to perform, they'll start franchising their name out to official tribute bands. There could even be different verions touring different parts of the world at the same time. With KISS, most people wouldn't even be able to tell the difference with all the makeup and costumes.
Someone told me Foreigner is already kind of like this, where the one remaining original guy comes out for a song or two, and the rest of the time it's a bunch of new guys.

There'was a band in the 60s called Nirvana and I know there was another band in the early 70s called Iron Maiden. There's also 2 catatonia's but the swedish metal one is spelt with a K. There's an Irish girl band called B*witched who use the asterisk as there's a death metal band called Bewitched.

I think there's a band called Black Foot that does that. From what I recall the bands been around since the seventies but the current line up the person whose been in the band the longest only joined in 2012 or something. The founder ordinal guy manages the band and comes on stage for a song or two.

I know of at least two bands called Frost, one's a Aussie pop band and the other a progressive rock group. The second changed their name to Frost* to avoid confusion.
