So i'm flipping channels and Max Kellerman has his own boxing show on ESPN
This is him in his element so I look forward to watching. Max is at his best when talking boxing and the best thing about HBO not doing boxing anymore is him adding credibility to the ESPN staff

I would respect ESPN so much more if they built their staff with guys like Max, who are experts in certain sports, rather than clowns like Stephan A. Smith that just spew out stupid sound bites. I would say Max is to boxing what Bob Costas is to baseball.

They have great fighters like Tim Bradley and Andre Ward as analyst and they need to use them more with this stuff with Max That dude is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge and been doing this for a long time. Hell, see if Jim Lampley is willing to do guest visits every now and again

I would say Max is to boxing what Bob Costas is to baseball. Problem is, to ESPN, they would build their entire network around more people like Stephen A. Smith if they could. Hell, it was just him and Skip Bayless for the longest time for years on programming before Bayless went to FS1. If it wasn't for getting all of the additional games, I would consider ESPN+ a waste of cash.

I think Jim still does his boxing show but at this point, if it is not loyalty then ESPN should take a stab at him since Joe does MNF. Hell, even if Joe doesn't want to be their full time see if he interested in doing part time like KO
