I know Joe is considered a bitch in these parts but I’d be in favor of this.

I see 43 votes to 9 in favor of Joe taking the title. Not everyone is giving their reasons for wanting to see the belt switch hands. We don’t even need to know why. They just want to see it happen. Maybe Joe would do more on top. I’d like to see him be given a shot. Most people responding to this poll would too so it’s all good. There's a difference between Kofi losing the belt due to his reign and him as a character and Kofi losing the belt because someone next is up to bat. Like, the topic is should Joe be next and we know Kofi isn't gonna be champion forever but it can happen at the next ppv, it can happen 2 years from now but regardless that's it. Judging most of the post responses in this thread the majority say they're cool with Kofi's reign, only 2 people aren't cool with his reign judging responses. Your post gave the impression that people saying yes are saying it because they think Kofi's reign is bad when the reality is all the comments in this thread are against that. At the end of the day most people are cool with Joe being the guy to get the title next which even I agree with but that doesn't mean it's because of Kofi's reign. It just means that Joe's really the best heel they have right now on the roster. That's just what happens. If it wasn't Joe then who would it have been? There's no other good heels. How did my post give you the impression that I spoke for anyone about how Kofi’s reign was perceived? The first two things I typed were “Absolutely. It’s nice to see the majority ruling that way too” in regards to seeing Joe win the title. That’s all I typed as far as referring to anyone else here. Then I gave my own reasons. It’s 51 to 11 now. There’s still a vast majority in favor of seeing Joe get the strap.

I don't watch regularly enough, so this is a question. Is Kofi being treated as a real main event world champion or as the well liked upper-mid carder who happens to be keeping the belt warm? Somewhere in between. He wins pretty much always (as he should) but feuding with dudes like Owens and Ziggler has still given him a bit of a midcard feel, which is unfortunate.

I think WWE is trying to elevate those guys by putting them with Kofi, but yeah, it doesn't help Kofi's dealt with both of them plenty in the past, so it's felt a bit old hat.

Very few people are against Joe getting the title, even in my post I said if it happened at Summerslam I'd approve of it because Joe just doesn't have enough momentum right now. If anything disliking Kofi's run is a minority opinion people are free to have. At the end of the day most people have been saying Joe needs to be world champion since he was called up in 2017 even though he's had rough moments and it continues now but these days it's a louder call as the list of good heels are at an all-time low. Why would it be nice to see people voting for Joe? What other heel do you think we'd vote for? That's what I don't understand. WWE does the "face to heel to face to heel" title transition method and given a heel would likely beat Kofi I'm not sure why else you think is more qualified in FAN's eyes than Joe. That's the reason why I perceived you giving your opinion in a "well I don't like Kofi and his reign so if Joe does it then good" rather than a "well Joe is doing great so if he's the heel that's picked to beat Kofi for the belt then that would be good." If it's the latter than that's what most are saying, if it's the previous then that's your opinion but again, that's just a minority opinion.
I don't really see what's surprising about FAN being behind Joe when we've got a horrible list of heels on the main roster. He's at the top of that list.

I’ve seen this board bury Joe quite a bit. Hence my comment about saying it’s nice to see the majority in favor of Joe beating Kofi for the strap. I’ve been a fan of Joe for a very long time. I’d like to see him get a turn with the title. As as far as how people would vote for other heel contenders or choices I honestly couldn’t tell you. I guess you could take some polls if you really wanted too.

I want to be perfectly clear - I'm loving Kofi as WWE champ at the moment. The man's earned this run and he's knocked it out of the ballpark, as far as I'm concerned.
That said, Joe is probably the most organic and credible heel on the main roster, bar _none_. Despite his losing streak in the clutch, he still comes out as a terrifying plausible threat to just about anyone. If it takes a betrayal by Big E or the New Day to get it to Joe and distract Kofi from getting a rematch (I know, I know - but everything else is out the window, so....) clearing the way for either a certain Saskatchewan resident to step in and snatch it or for a possibly soon-to-be-ex-Intercontinental champion to step up and slay a giant (or two.)

Kingston...you can't beat Samoa Joe
That's what I want to be reminded of. Brock vs Big Show in 2002, where Heymen somehow managed to convince the world Big Show was a threat to the title despite months and years of jobbing
