Earliest ECW supercard I've seen is Ultra Clash 93. Not sure there isn't much happening before that. But even UC93 would be nice in better quality.
All of their 1994 supercards would be great gets, as would be the WrestleFest card with Hart VS Funk.

It's weird calling them "SuperCards" to me. They were just the monthly (or so) shows at the Arena with cool names. It would be like if every WWF show at the Spectrum was a "SuperCard"

It would be like if every WWF show at the Spectrum was a "SuperCard" Supercards is pretty much all they can be called because they were basically PPVs except they went directly to home video. Some of the ECW Arena shows were considered more important than others, as not all of them were released (even when they had official names). A couple of them were held in Queens, NY as well (It Ain't Seinfeld, Crossing the Line '99).

Surprised it's taken five years for Holiday Hell to hit the network since it was an annual staple of WWE 24-7/Classics on Demand, but it's a fun show.
The Hostile City Showdowns are fun too.
Hopefully this means the next batch are all 97/98 gems.

I guess there's more room to add some shows from late 96 and into 1997 (as well as a handful of earlier shows from 1993), but once ECW started to produce regularly PPV's, these "supercards" were pretty much phased out.

Anybody know the original run times of any of these? Some are way under 2 hours so I'm assuming they're edited to shit. It'll be interesting to see what dosen't make the Network.

These shows will have edits done at the time by ECW. Sometimes, if a match was trimmed down for time on TV, the home video version would show it in full (Gangstas Paradise main event) while other times, the edited version was the one used (JT Smith vs. Hack Myers on GP).

Looking at those run times, I'm guessing the WWE is taking these shows from the VHS releases that ECW used to sell directly to fans and not from any kind of master copies that may have been recorded of the event. Those VHS tapes usually edited out things like dead time between matches, stage and ring set-ups, and some entrances. It wasn't unheard of for matches on those tapes to just start off with the two guys already in the ring, even for high profile, main event matches.

The wwe network edits of ECW shows are pretty excessive even the 24/7 versions are more complete.I’ve recently been on a ecw kick watching random shows and alot of these ppv’s are missing 30 minutes plus of content. The other night I watched Guilty as Charged 2001 and it was like 2hr 15mins when the live airing was just a few minutes shy of 3hrs. Its cool that were getting these but I had forgotten how much the wwe edits hurt these ecw shows.

It aired that way on WWE Classics On Demand, too. The backstage segments are included, though.

They left out the best one ever, Wrestlepalooza 97.
Thankfully I still have the original DVD. It's one of the few wrestling DVDs I still own due to its lack of inclusion on the network.

This is really cool news.
You know...I started a chronological order watch when the network first started. I started with the very first RAW and have been going slowly through all the WWE, WCW, and ECW stuff. I'm currently in September of 1997 (like I said...been going through it slowly). Since they've added a lot of good stuff since launch, I'm thinking about scrapping my plans and re-starting with some early 80s stuff.

That’s odd I had 24/7 & classics since it debuted on Comcast in 2006 and every ECW show I watched they kept the show intact just dubbed over entrance music or edit out the plug for live events. It is weird to me how much less enjoyable ECW shows are on the network with all the edits cause if I watch the same show from my live airing its like night & day a totally different experience while the WWF & WCW show aren’t that drastic of a change.GAC is missing entrances and most of the post match content is completely gone it reminds me of the wwf house shows on classics there the full show as it aired with the occasional song dubbed over meanwhile on the network they hack them to bits editing out matches, changing match order and getting rid of most of the promos & announcer onscreen stuff.

ECW on the Network is pretty much the same as it was on Classics On Demand, except the PPVs don't have the profanity bleeped. The WWF Old School shows, though, do have more edits for some reason.

These shows apparently will be put in the ECW PPV section and not a new category in the Vault.

Some of them are shit quality, but it’s so much better watching them without the WWE edits.
