Also Black Widow. I don't recall the reception to that, though I liked it well enough. Reception was "Well, it's pretty good, but has arrived about seven years too late." I know I thought that myself.

It would have been a cultural landmark if it'd come out around the time Wonder Woman did, but WW is the vastly superior movie

There was supposed to be one as part of Phase 2 in 2013, but the head of Marvel, Ike Perlmutter, shot that down on his belief that female-lead superhero movies didn't make money. By the time Feige gets full control of Marvel Studios in 2014, the rest of Phase 3 was already set. Really, Phase 4 was the only time Feige could have done a Widow movie.

The Infinity Gauntlet, which was used to kill trillions, is now a symbol for an Ice Cream shop

Finally watched it. I fully expect Thor to appear at the end of Loki Season 2…possibly in a credits scene. Loki is going to need to warn someone of the impending storm known as Kang the Conqueror and there’s only one man to turn to in order to reassemble the Avengera for the job.

I do like the nod of Thor's tattoo listing the loved ones he's lost: MOTHER FATHER HEIMDALL LOKI ?TONY NATASHAEven though he's got that big-ass RIP LOKI centerpiece, he's not 100% sure Loki's dead, and their reunion is going to be glorious. Though, since Loki did indeed die honorably in battle, I presume he's just chilling up in Valhalla with Heimdall, Jane Fonda Foster, those three guys, Frigga, and Odin.

I don’t expect Thor to survive Secret Wars. The work it’s taking Hemsworth to bulk up each time gets harder and harder. I think Loki and Thor get their wish to go into battle together one last time…possibly with Variant Loki as an official Avenger…and Thor sacrifices himself to stop Kang. Then we’ll find that Loki is officially in Valhalla after his Infinity War sacrifice.

The thing with Hemsworth is it's not like he's doing the Hugh Jackman or Chris Evans routine of getting into ridiculous shape and then slimming back down to a regular body type. As grueling as his getting into Thor shape is, he keeps himself more or less halfway there at all times anyway — he's basically The Rock's non-union white Aussie equivalent. While I agree we're into the home stretch of him returning to the role, I'm sure if he feels motivated he'd be more than happy to continue, even if it does require a little more enhancement (chemically or via CGI) to get him there.

It was on the “Assembled” for the movie he said it used to be easier for him to bulk back up after slimming down for other roles but this was the hardest time doing it this time. Hell he originally was done after Endgame but had so much fun with Taiti directing Ragnarok he was game for one more. Neither of them even knew the plans for Thor past this one until they saw it in theaters together and saw “Thor Will Return”.

Yeah, I saw, but by Hemsworth's own admission this was the biggest and leanest he's ever been in his entire life. His pre-Thor training regimen in previous movies lasted about six months and he had to maintain the physique for about ten weeks during filming. On Love and Thunder he went through a 12-month bodybuilding program and had to maintain that body for four months. That's brutal at any age, and I think regardless of what he does as Thor going forward he'll revert to the earlier programs. Creatively, he has said although there was never a plan in place post-Love and Thunder he's happy to continue as long as there's a good story to be told, though the end of Love and Thunder absolutely works as an end point for the character in the MCU.

Wonder why we didn't get that version of Zeus instead.

Wonder why we didn't get that version of Zeus instead. It would have made for a much stronger movie honestly. We didn’t need jerkass Zeus for the credits scene.

Didn't he bulk up to play Hogan in the biopic? The movie hasn't been made yet, and when Hemsworth spoke of it in June the impression he gave was that it would be several more years before he gets around to it, if it even happens at all – the only people who are attached to it are himself and director Todd Phillips, who is going to be working on Joker 2 for at least the next couple of years. He did say that if it happens It will be the most muscle he'll have ever put on for a role, so his days of massively bulking are far from over.

"Supposed to be"? Is Jesus Canon in the Marvel Universe? I read tons of comics as a kid up to young adult. But mostly Spider-Man & Hulk.
