I Googled it and apparently the cost on this runs $400-$500 per hour, from the time the banner is picked up at the airport to when it's returned. So this probably cost at least a thousand bucks. $1,170 according to the article.

I can think of at least 1,170 ways to better spend that money.

I can think of at least 1,170 ways to better spend that money. Especially since Warner Bros. aren't even at Comic Con.

If anyone's curious about seeing McFarlane Toys' offerings for 2020 for DC comics, given they'll be getting the license, we will apparently not be getting a look at that until New York Comic Con. I expected as much, I can't imagine Mattel would have been happy about that, or DC for that matter, since they will obviously want to sell the remaining figures in the Multiverse line, but still, just making note of it.

Some of the revealed Marvel Legends are really damn neat. You get some movie ones, but also some badly needed ones from the comics, like a new She-Hulk (the old one was ancient at this point), Squirrel Girl (goddamn finally), Shang-Chi, and classic Doctor Doom, who also desperately needed an update.
Also, a shitload of X-Men characters, some new, some we had already but they were in need of an update or it was the wrong era.

I know it's due to copyright/trademark reasons, but I'm amused that the packaging for the X-Men three pack is for Wolverine, Jean Grey, and Marvel's Cyclops.

Quick question for the thread:
The Marvel Studios panel is at 8:15 EST/5:15 PST tonight and is scheduled to run for 90 minutes. It won't be live-streamed.
Are we to keep news in this thread, or should someone (not me - I'll be out) start a new thread to cover all announcements and discussion?

Are we to keep news in this thread, or should someone (not me - I'll be out) start a new thread to cover all announcements and discussion? I think the easiest thing might be if anyone’s got announcements put them here and if there’s anything particularly thread worthy, post a thread. If any other mod has a different view, that’s cool with me.

Step-daughter has been waiting literally for years for a figure.

I had totally forgotten about that one-armed Wolverine from the 90’s.

They also sell a doll version of Squirrel Girl already in that Marvel doll line, but I think this will be her first action figure.

Man, there's so much good stuff in there. The Fett helmet. Morph, Strong Guy, an X Force Deathlok, Cosmic Ghost Rider. I love that the Endgame build a figure is Thor Lebowski.
