Not entirely opposed to this. Marvel and D+ loaded up too much, too quickly and the quality was all over the board because of it. At least WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye and Falcon and the Winter Soldier picked up on Endgame storylines and continued them while Loki set up the next Avengers big bad. The rest seem like they have ambitious plans to build to other teams and storylines but are just winging it as they go.

Yeah... I'm all for quality over quantity at this point.

If the longer time period between shows means marvel x disney will treat the VFX artists with some decency and respect, then I'm all for it

It felt like a lot of the weirdness and bloat of phase 4, especially the crunch the VFX artists had to suffer through, was a panic move by Disney to make up for the lack of content during the worst of the pandemic. And just like in the video game industry, crunch only hurts the final product.
I'm hoping the schedule is more the new norm. And the VFX artists not only get treated a lot better, but paid better too.

Now coming out a week after Dune Part 2 Guess this also means we'll probably see a cameo from any "The Marvels" character during the end credits of Guardians of the Galaxy 3

They kinda copied WWE’s tagline with that poster.

I guess there'll also be last minute reshoots being done for Guardians 3 to incorperate cameos from "The Marvels"

I'm looking forward to this. Ms Marvel is a great character and while Captain Marvel wasn't perfect it was a lot of fun.

I totally understand why there is slowdown to improve quality and reduce stress, but I won’t lie that I’m disappointed. I guess I got used to there always being a Marvel project, a movie or D+ series, to watch that knowing that for a long time we won’t, guess that bothers me. With the delay of The Marvels, I have absolutely no idea when Secret Invasion will run and I can’t see Loki until the summer.
It’ll be fine, it’s for best, I just enjoy Marvel fixes.

I don't really see why people are automatically assuming that more time between Marvel projects and more time for Marvel projects automatically equals better Marvel projects at the end of the line. If only...
Yeah, it may help the VFX people, but as we've seen with crunch and delays in the video game industry, all more time does is add more crunch to people already crunching, and probably for not that much more money. She-Hulk or Kamala Khan's powers may look somewhat better the next time we see them, and maybe seeing them on the movie screen instead of the computer screen or mobile phone screen will make a positive difference, but my guess is not by much.
But all the story and structural issues with Phase 4, especially on the Disney+ side of the shows that didn't know how to be either TV or movies, are baked into the DNA of those productions, more time or not, and COVID-19 notwithstanding.
Seasons of TV like the last one of Better Call Saul, when the lead actor almost died, or the first season of Andor, the best new show on the Disney+ platform, for example, were made and came out during the pandemic, and these seasons of TV were exceptional. If these shows could thrive during COVID, what's the excuse of shows like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk being mediocre at best and dismal at worst.
I am, however, still surprised that none of the negative reception of Phase 4 has blown back on Feige. He's like the reverse Kathleen Kennedy. Kennedy eats all the shit for the times when Star Wars sucks, but never gets any credit for the times when Star Wars is good. Which is bullshit. And Feige never eats any of the shit for the times when Marvel sucks, but gets all the credit when Marvel is good. Which is also and equally bullshit.
Then again, I'm still reeling about the idea that people think Loki is good, when it coasts on the charisma of Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino, and not even someone as talented as Jonathan Majors can sell a boring 25-minute scene in which he spells out the same multiverse stakes three times. But many people think Loki is the best Marvel Disney+ show, and maybe even the best Phase 4 item, because "lore dump" apparently means the same thing as "quality." And this meh show is now a cornerstone of Phase 5!

I’m not saying nobody has their right to their opinion but we have this weird tendency as a group to generalize for no real reason and it bugs me.
Like…Kathleen Kennedy and Kevin Feige aren’t going to get hounded out of their positions because their stuff makes money. That’s it. Kennedy’s made Star Wars more successful than ever and Feige helped make Marvel as much a Disney tent pole as anything else. That’s it.
Whether you thought the Marvel shows should have been better during a pandemic is honestly, entirely besides the point.

So you're telling me making Billions of dollars for a company doesn't make you successful and we should shut down the whole thing cause Phase 4 was only rated 7 out of 10 stars
