Well, yeah, the way they set up time travel in the movie there was no other way for him to do it. The only real confusion came from the writers not writing it that way.

Eh, the Russos say one thing ("yeah, according to the movie's rules, he lived hs life with Peggy in another dimension"), the writers say the contrary ("for us, there were two Caps living at the same time in the normal timeline, the unfrozen one that fought Thanos and the old one living with Peggy, as her unseen husband"), and I prefer to think that some things are best left to the imagination and kept unsaid (just like the "Cap was always worthy, he just pretended not to be in order to prevent Thor's feelings from being hurt" thing).

In their commentary track I think they talk about how the rules of time travel were changed during production, which would explain why the writers feel different about how it plays out. Also, if it played out the way the writers claim then it creates the problematic situation where Steve Rogers spends 70 years turning a blind eye to everything he knows about what Hydra are doing to Bucky and the countless deaths that leads to, plus any other tragedies that he would have learned about. Does anybody really think Steve would just sit and watch 9/11 happen, for example?

Yeah, and even if Steve would... do you think Peggy would let him? Exactly. In my headcanon Steve and Peggy truly finish Hydra off Hydra tout de suite and alongside Bucky and Howard spend the next 70 years uniting and preparing the world for the coming of Thanos, who is stopped with ease, allowing Steve to safely return to his home timeline to pass the shield to Sam.

Yea, I posted it only as a confirmation of them saying it but it is a no shit situation too since by their own rules explained in Endgame, this was the only option This is mostly interesting if we somehow get a peak of his life in Doctor Strange

Remember the end of “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” where they go and kick the crap out of the internet trash talkers? Substitute Cap and Bucky beating up Hydra goons instead.

I mean, Cap went back with all the stones. There's like infinite ways things could have happened.
Hell he could have gone to Asgard and handed Odin all the stones who could have given Cap his dream life and then snapped all the stones back to where they came from.

I mean, can’t be a Sam Raimi superhero movie without a Danny Elfman score, right?

Three characters are rumoured to be returning for Secret Invasion. {Spoiler}- Coulson - Quake - Daredevil Still waiting for a reliable source, but two of them would make a lot of sense and the third is just random enough to make sense.

I mean, can’t be a Sam Raimi superhero movie without a Danny Elfman score, right? I'm torn here. On the one hand, Danny Elfman is a legendary composer, and I'm sure he'll do a great job. On the other hand, I really liked Michael Giacchino's score in the first one, and hoped he would be back for the sequel.

They are really holding back on showing Walker. I wonder if he'll be shown in full before the series starts. EDIT: I meant in a trailer. They released a shot of him officially via trading card on 2/15. {Spoiler}{SPOILER}

I honestly don't care for it {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} She didn't want to do the make up for Mystique so at least the CGI for Sue Storm should be easier
