I really, really can't stand when the lyrics are listed for a cover, and it's just the original lyrics. Why is this so bad? Because it's not uncommon for them to not actually be correct for the cover.
Bruce Dickinson's cover of The Zoo does NOT have the same lyrics as the Scorpions version. The most obvious example is the chorus. On no planet is Bruce singing, "We eat the night, we drink the time, make our dreams come true!" It's very easy to tell he is saying, "we drink the blood, make all your dreams come true" instead. There are other minor differences, too, but if you can't get the goddamn chorus right, then any other mess ups aren't especially relevant. It's already a botch.
It's just so crushingly lazy. If you're not even going to try, don't list it as a separate entry if you're going to pretend the words are the same, anyway.
I know this is me being pedantic, but it just grates at me. Feel free to list some petty grievance of your own, if you like.
