Just saw the announcement ath Deonna is defending the Impact Women's title in Texas against Rok-C. Think it is on a Texas Pro card. Rok-C is a damn good up and comer. Trained in ROW. And should be a big name in a few years. I would be shocked if Rok-C doesnt make it huge. She is really good for three years of experience on top of only being 19. I'm still surprised that Hyan hasn't been signed somewhere already, for that matter. Feels like just a matter of who manages to pay them the right price first. I had never heard of Rok-c. Then BIW booked her for a show in Natchez. Saw the footage and was impressed. The owner of BIW was impressed but told her "Once you hit 18 I will book you again." Since she turned 18 she hasn't been free the days BIW has a show. Hyan is not only a great talent. But uber polite. Met her and Robyn Ivory Reid at a show in early 2017. They came into the venue and went around shaking hands with everyone and introducing themselves. 2 years later I was at a show Hyan was working. She remembered my name and where we met. Kept calling me Sir and Mr Gallos.Told her "Gallos will work. No need for the MR." Got told "Can't do that.It don't feel right to not call you Mr Gallos" Reality of Wrestling has a great roster of female talent. Alex Gracia,Hyan,Rok-C and a bunch of others come from that school and all of them are damn good in the ring.

And in his first match, he lost in a tag match teaming with Psicosis against two wrestling penises in about 4 minutes. Which feels about right for how those TNA PPVs were like.

I probably would have gone with Moose vs. Omega over Swann vs. Omega.
It's just that I wish Rich Swann would be given more teeth in this upcoming match against Omega. I know it's likely a given they're having Omega win the Impact Championship, but ever since Omega made his debut on Impact, I feel like Swann has been almost... looked down upon by the promotion.

If it were up to me, I’d have had Swann attack Omega on Dynamite at least once by now. Even before the big PPV six man, I’d have him and the MCMGs (or James Storm as it would end up being) invade to help put some meat to that bone.

During the last tapings, Eric Young suffered a torn ACL.

During the last tapings, Eric Young suffered a torn ACL. That sucks but a silver lining is that he's part of a group where he really doesn't need to wrestle to be on TV.

She deserved a better send-off than she got the last time she was in TNA/Impact (losing in a tag match with Jay Lethal against Robbie E and Cookie after chasing the latter around the ring in a dumb comedy spot).

Wrestlenomics just released the quarters data for Impact from January 5th to March 16th. Not too many things stuck out to me initially and if they do some data analysis on it/cover it on their podcast, I'll share it but there was one thing that stuck out. That Trey Miguel/Sami Callihan match that main evented the 3/16 show legit lost like half their audience (it went from 172K to 94K).

Either Callihan needs to jump to another company since he's been in Impact for so long, or Miguel needs to be scaled back on a little and tweak his character away from the "jaded, pissed-off guy whose friends left him behind" one he has now.

I actually think this is one of the better Sami feuds, he’s a former world champ so he’s always going to be given something to do. But the guy is a channel changer for sure. I was actually surprised Impact had that main.

I've enjoyed most Impact shows but that match did make me look at the clock and think about if I really wanted to see these two guys wrestle for the next 25ish minutes.

Is that incident with Jaynes still hanging over her head I wonder... still, good pop ups here.

www.instagram.com/p/CNWBODoHeu3/?igshid=nptox2c1wt91Reno Scum is no longer with the company. They played the undercard heel team well, but they were there forever. The only act in the company I never really cared about. Even Hernandez had his giant thing of cash. The cash itself had more character and storyline than most wrestlers in major companies.

I'm in the minority but I liked Reno Scum. Maybe it's because I knew them from CWHF were they won the crowds over and were favorites, but I guess it just didn't click in Impact. Wonder if they'll come back to CWFH? I know things have been difficult this past year with Adam Thornstowe because of him being a nurse and everything that entails over the last year. Best of luck to them wherever they go.

Best of luck to them wherever they go. Another thing that really hurts Reno Scum is aren’t they true to the name? Like they’re really based in Nevada and are only willing to travel so much? I remember reading an article at the start of Covid that one of them had a really good job working in healthcare. A few people said he was a doctor, but I couldn’t find any solid confirmation of it. Even if he’s not an actual MD I could still see why he’s only willing to do so much with wrestling if he’s making a strong healthcare salary.

Impact did 168K (.06 in 18-49) last night in their first show since moving to Thursday. The total viewers number is their highest in the past six weeks and the 18-49 number is tied for the best they've done since they did .08 in December when Omega debuted on the show.

Considering that was against a stacked second night of NXT, that’s a shockingly good number.
