Impact did 168K (.06 in 18-49) last night in their first show since moving to Thursday. The total viewers number is their highest in the past six weeks and the 18-49 number is tied for the best they've done since they did .08 in December when Omega debuted on the show. Considering that was against a stacked second night of NXT, that’s a shockingly good number. Absolutely. They'd lose half their audience when opposed by NXT on USA last year. Actually increasing it against a Takeover card is impressive.

I hope this shuts up the rhetoric as well that Champion Kenny does nothing for Impact or this stigma that he "Isn't a draw". When he actually wrestled he clearly was a big deal for fans That number was also against the second night of Stand and Deliver, so that's huge for them. Thursdays might be a good permanent home for Impact, almsot a full circle.

3/16 episode, the 27 minute Trey vs Sami main event was the lowest quarter hour if the year with about 93,000 viewers. The quarter hour before that had 172,000 viewers. A very significant drop.
How can you lose half of your viewership like that?

Singles Match: Doc Gallows w/Karl Anderson vs. Black Taurus w/Crazzy Steve Shera vs. Hernandez sounds like they picked two names out of a hat. I really thought Dreamer was going to pick Storm, Sabin and a returning Harris. I guess hitting up the main event team after they won the huge match Thursday makes more sense. Taurus vs. Gallows sounds random too, but then I remember Decay were making fun of Gallows and Anderson. Which was hilarious.

Final Card for Impact Wrestling Hardcore Justice 20211. Title vs. Career Match for the Impact Knockout's Championship: Deonna Purrazzo(c) vs. Jazz Well damn we know who is winning this one. Glad Jazz got another run on a big fed. Her and Rodney are some of the nicest people I have met. And being 100% honest I would rather fight Rodney than Jazz. Rodney would just hurt ya a bit,Jazz would kill ya. Been tempted to get Impact Plus. Might end up doing it in a few weeks after I get all the IWTV WM Weekend events watched. Oh Cry Me a Screwball were you at Tony Deppen's show today?

Impact Wrestling Hardcore Justice 2021 Results
1. 3-Way Tag Team Match: Josh Alexander & Petey Williams d. TJP & Fallah Bahh and Ace Austin & Madman Fulton via submission at 13:42 after Alexander forced Bahh to submit to the Ankle Lock.
2. Chairly Legal Match: Shera d. Hernandez via pin at 9:03 after Rohit Raju hit Hernandez with a chair & Shera pinned him.
~ Post match, Rohit tried to make amends with Shera. Shera seemingly accepted it, & Rohit raised Shera's hand.
~ Before the next match, there was a Swinger's Palace segment! James Storm & Chris Sabin were there, still mad that they were told to "take the night off", even though they wanted to get revenge on Violent By Design. Eventually Matt Cardona came in & got into an argument with Swinger, leading to Dreamer(who was hiding behind Swinger's painting...for some reason) to book them in a "Crate American Bash" Match!
3. Singles Match: Doc Gallows d. Black Taurus via pin at 9:01 with the Two-Handed Chokebomb.
4. Crate American Bash Match(crates are on top of all 4 corners, & they and the items inside, can be used as weapons): Matt Cardona d. Johnny Swinger via pin at 7:56 with Radio Silence.
~ For those wondering, the items inside the crates were
1. A framed picture of TNA era Scott Hall 2. A rat trap(which Swinger got his fingers trapped in) 3. Brass Knucks(which Swinger found, right before getting hit with Radio Silence) 4. Not yet known...though, Matt took it with him
~ Sami Callihan came out & cut a promo. After talking about how he gave Trey passion, he issued an open challenge...which was answered by Sam Beale, who of course was manipulated by Sami weeks ago into challenging Trey to a Match. When he failed, Sami attacked him.
5. Impromptu Match: Sami Callihan d. Sam Beale via pin at 4:05 with the Cactus Special.
6. Blind Games Match: Jake Something d. Brian Myers via pin at 5:17 after Cardona came down & gave Jake the crate from earlier, who bashed Myers in the head with it & then hit the Black Hole Slam to win. The crate was, of course, filled with action figures.
~ Before the next match, Susan, who was standing on the stage, was suddenly attacked by Su Yung!
7. #1 Contenders Weapons Match: Tenille Dashwood d. Su Yung, Alisha Edwards, Havok, Rosemary & Jordynne Grace via pin at 9:43 after Nevaeh came out & threw powder into Havok's eyes, allowing Jordynne to hit her with a Vader Bomb...but, Kaleb pulled her out of the ring & superkicked her, allowing Tenille to steal the pin & become the new #1 contender for the Impact Knockout's Championship.
8. Old School Rules Title vs. Career Match for the Impact Knockout's Championship: Deonna Purrazzo d. Jazz via pin at 13:08 with the Queen's Gambit to retain the Impact Knockout's Championship, & retire Jazz.
~ After the match, Jordynne Grace came out & hugged her. Jazz took some bows, before leaving the ring!
~ Before the next match, Tommy Dreamer was laid out backstage, & couldn't compete.
9. Hardcore War: Violent By Design(Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner & Rhino) d. Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack & Trey Miguel via pin at 20:28 after Deaner hit Mack over the head with a trash can lid, then Young hit him with the Piledriver for the win.

People should go out of their way to watch Deonna/Jazz. Really enjoyed it. Kinda wish they held it off for the PPV. Have a lot less interest in Tenille challenging for the title.

I was really hoping Jazz was going to pull it off. I thought it was written on the wall when Tenille became number one contender. I wish there could have been crowds there but her home promotion is SWE Fury and will probably officially retire there and they have crowds already. It’s Texas..

Seems like a great show.
Congratulations and hats off to Jazz not only for the amazing career she's had, all the crap she went through but also for putting over ThiccOnna in her final match. Would've liked to have seen her win the Knockouts belt to end her career but this was a class way to go out. It's been a great few months seeing her wrestle. I'm so glad Tommy Dreamer wa sable to convive her to have one last go round in Impact.

Tony Khan mentioned in an interview that he's going to be at Rebellion and he's bringing his own ref Aubrey Edwards to make sure there's no funny business.

Tony Khan mentioned in an interview that he's going to be at Rebellion and he's bringing his own ref Aubrey Edwards to make sure there's no funny business. so definitely then watched hardcore justice today and actually enjoyed it a lot the womens weapons match as fun as hell, as su yung sucked the life out of susan apparently hernandes and shera are two of my favs anyway, they could probably have a maths test and i'd enjoy it purazzo and jazz had a banger ... FOUR z's!! enjoy your end of career jazz ... the hardcore war was suitably a war, but man did trey smack his leg off the floor! the blind games match and the good bros v decay were in-between setups, but kept them busy the crates match was funny, the three way tag was a great way to start
