Ospreay and Eagles with a ode to the SAT with that finisher. That's a nice team to give a bump to the upcoming Power Struggle tour.

Looks like Ospreay and Eagles, the Birds of Prey, will be challenging Bullet Club for the Jr. Tag titles.
SANADA gets Chase to tap out to Skull End as he and Naito take down Owens and Jay White. White goes after them with a chair and hits SANADA, but Naito gets the best of him, hits Destino, gets a phantom 3 count from the crowd, then laid into White in a somewhat non-tranquilo way before taking a seat on the steel chair.

That was my first time seeing Aussie Open, and I wasn’t impressed. Not that I expected a stellar match with GoD, but I expected them to outperform the champs at least.
EDIT: We’re about to get Ishii/KENTA. Hold onto your butts.

Hoo boy, I think KENTA didn't take that German suplex from Ishii too well, looks like he's running on instinct right now. Knock on wood he's not hurt.

I’ll tell you, watching KENTA/Ishii at the same time as Cesaro/Dragunov is a trip.

New NEVER champion...pretty sure there hasn't been a successful defense of that belt the entire year, which I'm guessing is very much by design after Goto and Suzuki held it down the past couple of years.
KENTA seemed to recover as the match went on, but geez, I got scared in the middle there when he looked like he was somewhere in the middle of next Tuesday.

A bit disappointed overall by the NEVER match, but clearly KENTA was knocked back into NXT at one point. It is what it is.
Zack the conquering hero is here in white to face Tana.

This show has been a f***ing travesty for where I am sat. More thoughts later.

Much like Ishii/Naito, it’s impossible for Tana/ZSJ to have a bad match. Probably on the lower end of their battles, but still better than most of the matches ever wrestled.

God, Suzuki doing a PK-level running boot was siiiiick. Yeah. Y’know how sometimes commentators hype up a near fall by saying “he kicked out on instinct!” - I’m pretty sure that’s what Okada actually did.

What a great main event, Suzuki went full Kujo Jotaro but still not enough to defeat Okada.

No surprise on that outcome, but yeah, Okada/Suzuki is another pairing where it's impossible to have a bad match.
Interesting to hear actual boos when Okada was reversing the Gotch piledriver, Okada's over as hell in the west but the UK is Suzuki-gun country. Also helps he was facing somebody the fans want to see win the belt, unlike in the States where the crowd's been completely behind him against guys like Cody and Jay White.
EDIT: And here we go - Okada/SANADA for Destruction or KoPW?

If that was Suzuki’s last title match and/or last major non-WK singles contest, he certainly showed up and made it count.
