Mankind going from Ode to Freud to Wreck I think they're about the same just because they both fit for what the gimmick was when they were used and wouldn't fit at all for the inverse.

Goldberg going from his classic WCW “Invasion” to the generic WWE rip-off was to me a big drop off. It didn’t feel the same.

Bret Hart going from his iconic WWF theme to whatever sounded the closest in the Basketball Highlights Turner archive of stock music. This is pretty much any WWF superstar other than Savage (he was still graduating high school) , or Hall and Nash, as the nWo theme was an upgrade from Razor and Diesel's themes. Hogan, Warrior, Hart, Hennig, Bam Bam, even Brother Bruti had downgraded WCW basketball highlights.

Steve Blackman going from his 97-99 theme to the now far more famous drum beat 99-01 theme always felt like this. The original had a great riff.
Marc Mero's the inverse. He got a better theme in late 97 through 1998, but because it was Marc Mero, they wasted a great theme on a lousy unpushed person.

McIntyre was the first one to come to mind for me, and Victoria's a great shout too. Throw in Taker going from his epic Ministry theme to Kid Rock of all things.
Slow Chemical is possibly my least favourite Kane theme of all time, but I think I'd be more positive about it if he dropped it when he unmasked for the Type O Negative version. Slow Chemical is honestly kinda perfect for the watered down version of Kane we got in the flag-saving half-mask face Katie Vick era, but it's not the theme of a monster.

Surprisingly, Brutus's theme when he was The Butcher was actually written by Hart in WWE as it was used as Razor Ramon's theme in his 1992 dark matches. I was always surprised that Jericho's heel theme wasn't written by Hart since it's such a knockoff of "Evenflow."

I'll do you one better, Taker switching from the Kid Rock song (which for as lame as it was at least fit his gimmick) to Limp Bizkit of all things.

Pentagons killer as f*** LU theme to the terrible generic sounding whatever he comes out to everywhere else music that seemingly doubles as the Lucha Bros theme. Drew Mcintyre going from broken dreams to the straight trash he has now Whenever the Lucha Bros. go their separate ways, AEW should try to get Pentagon's LU theme or use something just as good, and have his armbreaker be more protected once again.

Agreed on both When a wrestler has a perfect theme it becomes almost impossible to hear them with anything else and this is one of them , this is straight out of an 80s vampire flick and perfect in every single way for Pentagon. And yes oh yes his arm breaking needs to be gawd damn protected it is a reason why I hate them facing the youngbucks because when he breaks their arms they just no sell it and win the f***ing match.

Kalisto going from his "LUCHA SATAN" theme back to his old plonky cornball theme, too.

Drew Mcintyre going from broken dreams to the straight trash he has now The real stupid part is that Broken Dreams fits his character a ton more now than it ever did when he had it

Big Show's first theme had such good energy to it and his new/current one just has none of it. So of course they like this one so much more. Matt Hardy going from the iconic Hardyz theme(even if it is stock, it fit him/them very well!) to the "I can slap a tornado" song.
Didn't Show have a weird rap version for a short while before going back to his original theme?

Definitely Drew McIntyre. With others I'd put on the list, it was a case of them going to different companies, but Drew was in the same company and they changed from a solid vocal rock theme to evil bagpipes (because he's Scottish, you see!).
Sheamus is the same way. He also went from a great Celtic rock theme to generic evil Irish-sounding music.

I'm going to have to beg to differ here, on the basis that even the RTC theme would be an upgrade from Kid Rock.
