McIntyre was the first one to come to mind for me, and Victoria's a great shout too. Throw in Taker going from his epic Ministry theme to Kid Rock of all things. I'll do you one better, Taker switching from the Kid Rock song (which for as lame as it was at least fit his gimmick) to Limp Bizkit of all things. Taker was on a bike and bike wheels roll. How does "Rollin'" not fit?

Big Show's first theme had such good energy to it and his new/current one just has none of it. So of course they like this one so much more. Matt Hardy going from the iconic Hardyz theme(even if it is stock, it fit him/them very well!) to the "I can slap a tornado" song. Didn't Show have a weird rap version for a short while before going back to his original theme?
Yeah back in Spring of 2000 when they were hyping up the WWF Agression Rap/Hip Hop album. Anyone whom had their theme song covered on the album came out to that version of the song for a brief time. (IE: DX coming out to the version of their theme by RUN DMC or The Godfather using the Ice T cover of his theme to name a couple of other examples.)

Was about to post the same thing & was gonna use the entire album as my answer to this thread. Could be in the minority but I thought they all sucked as entrance themes with the exception of DX... the Run DMC theme of theirs was a total banger.

This is pretty much any WWF superstar other than Savage (he was still graduating high school) , or Hall and Nash, as the nWo theme was an upgrade from Razor and Diesel's themes. Hogan, Warrior, Hart, Hennig, Bam Bam, even Brother Bruti had downgraded WCW basketball highlights. The WCW themes for Hogan and Warrior were written by Jimmy Hart. Surprisingly, Brutus's theme when he was The Butcher was actually written by Hart in WWE as it was used as Razor Ramon's theme in his 1992 dark matches. I was always surprised that Jericho's heel theme wasn't written by Hart since it's such a knockoff of "Evenflow." Really? I guess talented songwriting has an age limit in this case.

Definitely Drew McIntyre. With others I'd put on the list, it was a case of them going to different companies, but Drew was in the same company and they changed from a solid vocal rock theme to evil bagpipes (because he's Scottish, you see!). Sheamus is the same way. He also went from a great Celtic rock theme to generic evil Irish-sounding music. McIntyre's theme progression has been really something else when you factor in his TNA run. He went from Broken Dreams to 3MB to The Rising's theme to that faux metal theme he had in TNA to Roderick Strong's stock theme with bagpipes in NXT to what he has now on the main roster. It's pretty much gotten worse and worse since he left WWE in 2014.

Hell Will Be Calling Your Name to Whatever the f*** they gave Lashley. And I kinda hate Corbin's current theme, his first one made him feel like a star.

I warmed up a little to Lashley's current theme because the opening note is very attention-demanding but yeah, Hell Will Be Calling Your Name is miles better than it.

Finlay going from the "I love to fight!" theme to using Hornswoggle's "St Patrick's Day For Kids" theme

Finlay going from the "I love to fight!" theme to using Hornswoggle's "St Patrick's Day For Kids" theme The really frustrating thing is that if they really had to go that route, there was that more mournful remix of it they used all of like twice that they could've just stuck with. Still not as good as the one theme but certainly better than the happy Irish jig.

Steve Blackman going from his 97-99 theme to the now far more famous drum beat 99-01 theme always felt like this. The original had a great riff. Marc Mero's the inverse. He got a better theme in late 97 through 1998, but because it was Marc Mero, they wasted a great theme on a lousy unpushed person. Trivia: that music (obviously stock) was being used in WCW at the same time...for the Renegade.

Honestly??? Bray Wyatt going from one of the most unique theme songs in wrestling to a super loud cover where Code Orange is trying to sound like Evanescense is....deeply not good. Like the HURT HEAL bits come on and it's like oh shit here we go hell yeah then CYATCHING FLIEEEEEEEeeEEeeEEES and ugh no no get out bad bad bad this isn't okay. The death metal version of the "broken out in love" refrain makes it sound twisted, but yeah, in retrospect, the singer otherwise reminds me of Harley Quinn trying to sing a badass song. I mean, it all fits The Fiend, but...

Kidman going from his WCW theme in the WWF/E to the generic music they gave him, to that rap song.
Likewise, Lance Storm's WCW music to generic WWF music. Jumped back when they gave him the UnAmericans theme, though.
The one week when Rock turned face and got this really generic sounding song to get rid of the Nation remix he used since SummerSlam '98. Thankfully they compromised and came up with the basic theme he's mostly used to this day.
I know he was over with the latter, but Rikishi had a great theme when he appeared on Metal, etc. and that was replaced of course by the Too Cool theme.
Most of the replacements caused by the existence of WCW Slam Jam I. Sting's Warrior soundalike, Simmons' smooth jazz Doom theme, Cactus Jack's Taps soundalike = superior. Man Called Sting, Don't Step To Ron, Mr. Bang Bang = inferior.
Now, unless I missed something, I can't believe we didn't mention...
HEEL DOINK ---> FACE DOINK.
That is all.

I'm gonna go with the 2 weeks or so Randy Orton dropped "Burning in my Light" to "This Fire Burns" before having to switch back. The latter just didn't fit Orton's pretty boy character at all. I know he hated his old song, but it fit for him and his gimmick. Of course he massively upgraded once "Voices" came along.

Cult of Personality is a great song and fits snarky 2011 CM Punk pretty well, but I always thought he lost some of his edge when he lost This Fire Burns.
It's already been mentioned, but American Made will never be as good or iconic as Real American(for the record, the Jimi Hendrix theme blows them all out of the water)
Jack Swagger going from "Check one two! Awwwww yeeeeaaah!" to the theme he had with Zeb was a downgrade I think.
Cesaro from the badass European rap theme to the sirens.
Both Hardcore Holly's and the Dudley Boyz' original stock music themes were alot cooler sounding than any of their subsequent songs, imo. You know, the themes you would later hear playing on Spike TV ads or whatever.

Bret Hart going from his iconic WWF theme to whatever sounded the closest in the Basketball Highlights Turner archive of stock music. This is pretty much any WWF superstar other than Savage (he was still graduating high school) , or Hall and Nash, as the nWo theme was an upgrade from Razor and Diesel's themes. I also love the "Simply Ravishing" theme they eventually gave to Rick Rude.
