Wait, Shamrock still does MMA? In his 50's? Jesus. Yyyyup. You can see why doing wrestling is a step up for him, given he already should have retired from MMA like 10 years ago.

Impact must be making some serious money to be able to afford Shamrock. He’s not cheap. Most indies can’t use him because he charges so much.
Fun Fact: Ken Shamrock is Drew Gulak’s favorite wrestler.

I liked him back in the 90's and he's a legend in MMA. Just confused why he's being involved in a wrestling program in 2019 when his wrestling career wasn't really that notable. He was a big star in WWF during its ridiculously hot period and was usually always involved in prime storylines. His career was very notable.

If Ken's going to do anything at this point, I'm glad it's pro wrestling because he should never, ever have a MMA fight again - not even one of the "exhibition" style fights that netted Dan Severn a lot of wins over the last 15 years.

I’m real hype for it. Ken Shamrock is a nice get and not a nostalgia burnout because you see him all the time unlike some people.

Shamrock's body is basically made out of tape and Moose is Moose.
I want to see it right now.

Well I'm just happy that Shamrock now seems content with just sticking to wresting and not embarrassing himself in MMA.

Shamrock was a name in like 2000. Shamrock didn't even make it to 2000. He was out of WWF by August or September of 99. He quit the night of Unforgiven hours before he was to face Jericho. They wrote him off as somebody attacked him

I like Ken Shamrock. Loved his match with Bret Hart. Would of been cool too see him vs Guys like Tazz Angle Benoit. With that being said I am a huge mark so I would know of his wrestling career. Your average person wouldn't I was at an autograph signing of his 3 years ago, and I am pretty sure I was the only one with wrestling stuff to get signed

So how is beating an Attitude-Era midcarder going to elevate Moose?

So how is beating an Attitude-Era midcarder going to elevate Moose? Ken is the first ever champion in companys history, they will probably put over that fact so when Moose beats him means something, although I think Impact should go full legend killer mode with Moose.
With Dr Wagner and maybe Marufuji going to BFG they can have Moose facing either one of them at that event(after he beats Ken at Vegas).

So how is beating an Attitude-Era midcarder going to elevate Moose? Because the Attitude Era midcarders are more significant to wrestling history than pretty much all the TNA main eventers that didn't eventually go to WWE or Japan. So, prestige?

Is Shamrock putting over Moose even a rub in the positive direction though?
RVD yes, but Ken idk since he has really been a non issue on a big wrestling stage for years
