Just announced now on the UK broadcast of Impact after the Impact+ moment of the week, he is heading to Sams Town to confront Moose who has been trolling and shit-talking him on social media.

I normally really enjoy Impact, but they have been using too many old timers lately. It's starting to feel like TNA again.

If its to put the new guys over, I'm all for it. Shamrock is a name. As well as the HOF. He's their first ever champion.

Shamrock returns to Impact before the WWE. Guess the heat is a bit real between him and the company.

Shamrock was like a name in wrestling in 2000. He was already past his prime in 2004 when he last had a cup of coffee with TNA. He's also not in any wrestling Hall of Fame. Not even TNA's/Impact's.
Also saying he was their first ever champion is somewhat misleading. He was the first champion crowned on a TNA show, but it was the NWA Heavyweight Championship and not TNA's own championship belt. And he only held it for two months and never again. So less Hall of Famer and more Jeopardy clue.

I normally really enjoy Impact, but they have been using too many old timers lately. It's starting to feel like TNA again. I have also really been enjoying Impact for the last year or so. I had no problem with the ECW guys being used a few months ago since they were in the north-east and were only there to put the younger heels over. I had some friends that attended the Impact tapings that featured the ECW guys and they all really enjoyed seeing them again. The Shamrock move is really corny though. Shamrock has looked like an absolute buffoon in Bellator over the last few years. That's likely the reason WWE hasn't brought him back. I realize he was TNA's first Champion but this is a stupid move.

Shamrock was a name in like 2000. Shamrock didn't even make it to 2000. He was out of WWF by August or September of 99.

If he puts over Moose like RVD did then its good.
Kross would be a better fit than Moose due to MMA background but he is likely on his way out.

Not a fan? I liked him back in the 90's and he's a legend in MMA. Just confused why he's being involved in a wrestling program in 2019 when his wrestling career wasn't really that notable.

I'd prefer this over him continuing to get his brains scrambled in MMA.
He's liable to get killed if he continues there.

It's easier on the body if he works with a solid hand at his age compared to working an MMA match where you have to give it your all, which makes it more difficult the older you get. Plus, it's a paycheck.

Wait, Shamrock still does MMA? In his 50's?
Jesus.

Ken was really cool to me for a few hours when I was a kid and my dad was covering some pride event. And I was a huge mark for the guy. I just hope he’s careful.

Yeah, RVD did the same with Moose and he put Moose over. I can see the same that for Ken Shamrock. One week he'll surprise Moose, get the jump on him, and then when they have their big match, Ken will put over Moose.
