From the "THAT match happened?" files comes this. Was trying to remember a nWo-era Randy Savage Worldwide match where after he says to the arena "WHICH WAY TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP?" which was the legit perfect thing to say on a syndicated show with no storyline ties. As I was YouTubing, I came across this. Wow: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcWVu90gOyk

They had so much talent and a ton of TV.I always get a kick out of some of the random matches from these weekend shows I just watched a Saturday Night from 96 with Luger vs Juvi and a worldwide from 97 with Flair vs Lizmark Jr.

It's not like the winner was ever in doubt, but it's very Savage to still sell Ultimo's kicks and protect him with the cheating by Elizabeth. He tended to not be as selfish and he could easily have gotten away with.
I remember Stevie Richards saying Savage had been very generous when they wrestled, too, and that he told Savage his ribs were hurt, so he protected him on the elbow drop. Granted, Bischoff was high on Stevie, who only left WCW because Heyman guilt tripped him into coming back, and Raven was at the height of his heroin addiction and difficult to be around, but still, doesn't mean Randy couldn't have gotten away with big leaguing him easily.

Great find! God, their rings were so small. Dragon had to practically jump as soon as Savage passed him to time that dropkick properly.

Lol @ Heenan's Ray Traylor joke. I love that even when they're heeling on NWO fans in kayfabe, The Brain still made sure to take it just a bit further since Tony was a face.

They need to get the Worldwides and the post-1995 Saturday Night’s on the Network. Very much this! When I was doing my rewatch on the network of 95-97 Nitro they regularly promote matches on Pro,Main Event,SN and sometimes Worldwide that it makes me sad their not on the network. They would regularly do #1 contender matches or just give you Mysterio vs Juvi or Eddie Guerrero vs Benoit.

Looking at some of the Nitros from that time period, he worked with guys like Booker.T, Prince Iaukea, Fit Finlay and put over their offense and make them look good.
