I hated each and everyone of the characters in this game. Mike and Sam ended up not being that bad, especially Mike whose character basically had one of the better arcs from how he started in the game

But because she was associated with such buttcrap people, I had no choice but to despise her by default.

One of the worst things about the game that I just remembered, is the flashback segments.
The game when we played it had unskippable chapter recaps. That's bad enough, but because the game has branching choices, the recaps would mention things that didn't happen - dialogue that wasn't said, worldbuilding that we didn't find. 'I found out about blah blah thing at the asylum!' Um. I definitely didn't.

I hated each and everyone of the characters in this game. I feel like that was a little bit of the intent. They are all such obvious horror cliche tropes, they may as well have had words stamped on their foreheads.

Emily was the character I couldn’t stand. She and Matt are better IF you have the preorder DLC, otherwise... God, annoying.

Yeah, he went from obnoxious dick head to very likable over the span of the game Sam was basically neutral the whole game so she never really needed to change and it helps that when you start the game she is clearly not in the antics that led to the death of the sisters

Was Mike the jock who befriends the dog? Yeah he was cool. Everyone else was pretty unlikeable or I was very apathetic towards.

Yea, Mike was the jock, Emily was the bitch, Sam was the smart one, Jessica was the air head, Matt was the rebound guy, Ashley was a mix of Emily, Jessica, and Sam, Chris was sort of the timid guy, and Josh was the weird one Mike had the best character arc with Jessica actually right behind him. She ended up not being as much an airhead and had her insecurities. She didn't really get to evolve as much thanks to how early her character potentially gets killed and if she survives she is just there for the most part
