Post by Some Baritone guy IS REDEEMED! on Aug 27, 2019 18:14:24 GMT -5
As great as wrestling as been in 2019, I think we can agree there have been some bad ones, and some that are just so god awful it is inconceivable.
So I've got to ask you guys: What's the shitstopper? The Bowel blockage so great that nothing of value can be redeemed?
And go!

I've missed a lot of the notable bad matches this year, and can barely remember most things WWE gets up to, so mine is probably Adam Page vs. Kip Sabian. So boring I felt like I was almost half asleep for the rest of the show.
I'm sure Goldberg vs. Undertaker was worse, but I feel like that would at least be funny to me.

If we are stepping out of the WWE stage for this, I will shout out the entirety of Blackcraft's No Apologies show. A show that started with a dude getting crucified (legit crucifixion with nails in the dude's palm), a match with chain instead of ring ropes, and then because they started late, had to send all their later matches home early because the building had a curfew, including Johnny Blackcraft vs. David Starr that went like 10 seconds and was their title match, and then closed the show with a 30 man battle royal as the buildings management was turning the lights on and yelling at whatever fans were left that they had to leave.

This sounds amazing. Is there anywhere I can see this? And has anybody informed Jim cornette of this show? I would love to hear him go into full coronary mode ranting and raving about Outlaw mud show f****. The irony of this trainwreck show being named No Apologies makes it even better.

Speaking of Blackcraft, there was a Shlak vs. G Raver match over Mania weekend that was f***ing awful and I didn't remember it until now. Literally like they were moving through water.

I'd a lot rather watch Goldberg / Taker than Page / Sabian.
It's not worse than either, but I think Ricochet / Elias deserves to at least be mentioned. At least it was short but seemingly everything in it was botched.

I had seen Botchamania coverage of this show. Looked terrible, and I felt bad for anyone who paid for a ticket. Wasn't it also a PPV/iPPV?

If you are dying to watch it, it’s on FITE TV. However, I recommend spending your time and money on Orange Cassidy’s Mania weekend show, or either part of Spring Break, and just watch Botchamania 285 as it has all the relevant parts of Blackcraft’s show edited into something tolerable.

Goldberg/Taker because they did like four moves in five minutes and still almost killed each other.

I got the backstage scoop for that one. The match was supposed to be G Raver vs Jimmy Havoc first, but Havoc got hurt and pulled out. The original replacement was supposed to be Nick Gage but GCW management nixed that due to them wanting to save that match for the future. Raver and Shlak was a last minute thing and they were the best part of that s***show. Im glad I skipped that show at WM weekend

I think the match that annoyed me most was Gargano / Cole 1. I can't by any stretch of the imagination call it the worst match of the year, but I did find it to be a total chore to sit through with the boring ass first half and the mindless spotfest second half, and the storyline behind the match made absolutely no sense to the point I really haven't actually watched anything NXT-related since.

For televised WWE match, the four way elimination with Naomi, Natalya, Carmella, and Alexa Bliss. God, did that match drag.

Not like she's that great, and no one thought she'd win, anyway, but it really would have helped it be less tedious.
