We need more of KanaChanTV Asuka, who suddenly snaps if someone pisses her off. I'd book 5 minutes of KanaChanTV to the 3rd hour of RAW, it would automatically get 300,000 viewer bump upwards! Samoa Joe goes looking for crab legs, and sets up "Joe's Crab Shack" with Asuka buying all of them before anyone else gets there.

I'm starting playing Wrestling Mpire Remix: Career Edition, could someone give a fresh name for my wrestler? I'll post pics later. Quicker the better. You have the creative control now! I'm gonna take this gaming as long term project. I'll play it every other day and lift real weights between matches to get myself motivated to exercise for reals! #THRUSTPOWER
This La-Parka-Like-Death-Bitch won, but guess who had the last laugh? Still in need of the name, so I can be #INITTOWINIT and continue later...

How are the WWE gonna work the Royal Rumble with Covid restrictions? Less than 10 people in at a time, but the NXT women's battle royal did happen with way more than that.

How are the WWE gonna work the Royal Rumble with Covid restrictions? Survivor Series is probably gonna be a dry run for that with at least 13-14 people in the general ringside area at any given point (10 wrestlers, a referee and two/three commentators, and it could be more than that if the wrestlers have associates). The Rumble often hovers around that number.

How are the WWE gonna work the Royal Rumble with Covid restrictions? In fairness, if they actually gave a shit about that they wouldn't be running at all.

This is crazy fascinating to me as a stats nerd, because it always feels like there are no clean finishes yet, apparently (as it pertains to singles matches), it’s the cleanest it’s been since the New Generation?
I think the complex thing is that it may be too hard to break down the clean finish data into “matches that actually ended straight up clean” and “matches that ended with a pin/submission because of outside factors/cheating” without sitting down and watching EVERY SINGLE MATCH in your data range.

I say this with zero data and only gut feelings: I think it's because there's a lot of matches few people give a shit about with real finishes on the average show, and it seems the "matches I actually care about" have a higher level of shenanigans to draw out and elongate the "bigger" feuds.
Thus it feels like there's a lot of bullshit finishes. Because the stuff I pay the most attention too has most of the bullshit. Because the bullshit is how they add filler to make the feuds last longer.

I know nobody gives a shit about Talking Smack anymore because Renee Young is gone, but somehow they ended up with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn together as the hosts this week.

Is Hogan's title victory at Tuesday in Texas considered an 'official' reign with the belt? Or is it null and void considering he was stripped of it?

Brock killing everyone in the rumble was actually pretty awesome The Rumble was my favourite match of the year in the old days, and honestly I still miss it - when they did the Network free for a bit during lockdown I watched this Rumble match and I thought it was great. The pop when Lesnar actually went out was HUGE and he hasn't worked that hard for anything in years. I thought it was a great Rumble.

I think the bone of contention was how a lot of people’s favourite talents were seen merely as a means to an end, that being Lesnar’s bodycount in the match.

I totally understand that criticism, and I was a bit sad that several of these guys didn't get more shine in the 90 seconds. Had I been watching it live at the time, I would probably have been very disappointed, not least because I found WWE Drew Mac to be boring as magnolia paint, so him as the guy that did it sucked. But at the same time... it'd be nice if any of those guys got used well on TV, any week, not just the Rumble. It's a lot easier for me to appreciate that match in isolation because I don't watch the product, just like it was easier to enjoy the PPVs when I didn't watch the TV shows.

I hope Asuka's alright. She's normally on Twitter and Instagram almost every day, but hasn't been on those sites since November 1st, and missed Raw this week.

Hopefully, it’s just that Asuka is taking a bit of a break. She’s been a workhorse for the last year or so.
