Damn do I love this show! I highly recommend the Blu-ray release that came out a few months ago. I heard the DVD release had edited episodes, but this one is completely uncensored. I’m only three episodes deep into it and it is as fun as ever with great picture quality

I used to love that show too, I was kinda sick a lot as a kid and whenever I couldn't sleep because of it, Johnny Quest was my go to since Cartoon Network only seemed to air it somewhere between 2 to 4 AM. Need to look into those releases, I had no idea.

I hated it but loved the 90's version... 😳
Wasn't there rumor of a live action Johnny Quest for years and years before that sort of quieted down? I feel like with the right cast it could be really fun.

So far nothing has come of it that I know of.

I remember for a long time The Rock was rumored for Race Bannon in a live-action Jonny Quest movie. Also, this live-action movie was the supposed reason why on Venture Bros. Jonny Quest's name was changed to "Action Jonny".

People seem to forget that there was an 80s version of this show. I liked all of the shows, but for some reason I liked "The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest" the most. Probably because of the Questworld sequences, even though the visuals would look highly-dated by today's standards.

I have 7 or 8 DVD sets of this at home. They misspelled Quest as "Venture"......... No, really, the original Jonny Quest series was incredibly well done. And dark. Back in the day when it 1st came out on DVD I found this incredibly cheap at a Wal-Mart and grabbed it, having only known it by vague reputation.......boy was I pleased with that purchase. A great show.

A great show. You’re not kidding about episodes getting dark. I just watched Shadow of the Condor and was surprised there is actually two (at least) episodes about the Quest gang crossing paths with ex-German soldiers. This one takes place in Chile and surprisingly isn’t the one about an ex-Nazi. Instead the German in this episode is an old World War I pilot. He hunts alone living in isolation except for his dog and Chilean servant. It turns out he was a top ace of the sky in the war with 84 kills, but always wanted to make it to 100. So he decides to get Race in one of his World War I era planes and then hunt him down. Before this happens his servant warns the Quest gang. When the German catches the servant he takes him to his basement and just beats the crap out of him! Also, despite not really having blood and gore there seems to be plenty of deaths in the show. Later cartoons seem to go out of there way to clarify that none of the bad guys actually died, but not here.
