Who do you think went from underrated to overrated or overrated to underrated in their careers
Try to give a decent response reason why they were overrated or underrated and why you think that alignment switched over time

It sort of depends on who is doing the rating, I guess.
Like, I'd call Vader like as evenly rated as you can get. Very lauded, very decorated, but he also gets called out for things like working really stiff and smelling horrible. Then again, plenty of people called him out for it, and it did hurt his career in WWF, so I wouldn't call him over or underrated, you know? Feels like he's about as fairly ranked as you can get.

I guess Damien Sandow. Honestly, didn't glance much into his TNA run, but from reading what had happened we got people during his WWE run mentioning him being wasted then to TNA when people were like "oof".

Shawn Michaels was super underrated as a shitbag midcard heel in the early 90's. Then by the time he retired they were calling him the greatest of all time, which I find absurd. He's good, but not best of all time good.

He's good, but not best of all time good. if his career started this century rather than the last he would be Ziggler. "Hey that guy can do over the top selling, make a mid card jobber"

The Miz He went from "he is awful and overpushed" while being pretty decent heel to "he is the best ever, why he is not main eventing"while still being just good and repeating the same promos over and over

Underrated to overrated
Arn Anderson is everybody's favorite "You know who's really underrated?" answer. Then he advanced to "He really should have gotten a run with the belt."
Arn was a wonderful mechanic whose shine benefited greatly from who his friends were. Take away the politics, and he'd Jim Neidhart.

He is def the person who lost their goodwill the fastest That promo alone sunk his value and the ring work and eventual gimmick buried him

Before he went to the WWF and became a lifer in the tag division, Neidhart was a main event/top midcard worker in places like Mid-South and Memphis. Was never going to be Flair, but he was good and getting better. He just went completely stagnant in the WWF and let Bret do most of the work, while his deteriorated as time went on.

Even when they came in to WWF, Neidhart was already with Jimmy Hart and Bret latched himself onto that.

Agree somewhat, however I still think he would sit higher on the card, He had better promo skills than a lot of people in that Neidhart bracket.
