... but Bohemian Rhapsody isn't at all one of them? Have on the radio at the moment and it's playing it. It's the first time I've heard it in years but kind of the same opinion of it I've always had, just think it's a slog that feels like it takes forever to get going and even once it does it's kind of too aimless for me and it feels like it's a lot longer of a song than it actually is. I dunno. Different strokes I guess, I just feel weird for the fact I really don't at all like it. Completely agree.

Billy Joel is one of my all-time favorites, but I hate Piano Man.
And my Queen top 5: 1. Seaside Rendezvous 2. I'm Going Slightly Mad 3. Rock It (Prime Jive) 4. Keep Yourself Alive (specifically the 1975 retake) 5. I Was Born to Love You I found another person like me! I love Billy Joel but I can't stand that song.

Sorry in advance if I'm asking this wrong, but when it comes to Show must go on, did Freddie complete the song before he died? I ask this because I don't know if it was that song or another one where he was working on a song, but needed a break, but never got a chance to go back to the studio before he died.

My favourite album is a night at the opera. But when I think about what songs are on it, I always forget bohemian rhapsody. Even when I play the album, I'm always surprised when it comes on near the end. Very weird.

The one Queen song I can't stand is We Are the Champions The only context I appreciated that song in in modernish times was when the Kings of Wrestling (Ohno and Cesaro) used it...as shitbag heels after trying to kill a promotion, sneaking their way back into said promotion after their invading army got the boot and they stole the tag titles out from under the champions' noses in a shitshow tag title match and acted like they were HBK fulfilling the boyhood dream by doing so. It was the most self congratulating, patting themselves on the back song a pair of heels could give themselves after literally becoming champions and I thought it worked perfectly.

It was finished before he died. It was released as a single a couple of months before his death. I think the song you’re thinking of is Mother Love. It’s on the Made in Heaven album which was released a few years after Freddie died. May sings the parts that Mercury never made it back to record.

For years, I was pretty sure I hate Billy Joel since that and We Didn't Start the Fire were the songs I kept hear. The latter's fine, but the former was just so obnoxious to me.

Billy Joel is one of my all-time favorites, but I hate Piano Man. Same. Wow, do I hate "Piano Man" so, so much. And I adore "River of Dreams" which a lot of Joel fans seem to dislike. Billy Joel is truly the Queen of Billy Joels.

I don’t hate it, per se, but I rarely am in the mood to hear it. Having said that, I love Queen. I vastly prefer everything after they stopped being a big thing here in the US. I even love a Hot Space, for the most part.

Like most bands you’re going to get sick of the songs that get played over and over. ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ I heard almost every week at University (this was just after Shaun Of The Dead came out so it was getting a surge in popularity because of it) so I got completely sick of it.
I’ve never been a big fan of Seven Seas of Rhye and Flash is barely a song either. Headlong is terrible as well. But for the most part I like pretty much everything they’ve done.

I think Headlong is okay, but my opinion is definitely affected by the nice guitar riff drop.

Someone having their own opinion about what they like? This is a stretch but I think there's nothing wrong with that.

I like Bohemian Rhapsody much more now than I did when it got popular again with Wayne's World. It was SO overplayed.

As long no one shit talks another one bites the dust, we are goos That song forever reminds me there was a time when the Chicago Bulls had Michael Jordan and were great at basketball. That was played after every win and damn it, it got played a lot in the early to mid '90s.

Not weird at all. I think it's quite common for people to like a ton of stuff from band/person's portfolio but then have little/no interest in "the big song."

Speaking of Bohemian Rhapsody, I was listing to the Queen channel on Pandora. There is a cover on a tribute show album that is playing now. It is seriously ass. I would willingly listen to the Queen version the rest of the day if I can remove this song from the channel entirely so that I never hear it again.
