... but Bohemian Rhapsody isn't at all one of them?
Have on the radio at the moment and it's playing it. It's the first time I've heard it in years but kind of the same opinion of it I've always had, just think it's a slog that feels like it takes forever to get going and even once it does it's kind of too aimless for me and it feels like it's a lot longer of a song than it actually is.
I dunno. Different strokes I guess, I just feel weird for the fact I really don't at all like it.

You're like me with Britney Spears and "Toxic". I do think Bohemian Rhapsody is a little bit overrated as a song. It's also not Queen's best song IMHO, as I think that "We Will Rock You" is their #1 greatest song.

The Queen song I loathe that is popular amongst fans is Who Wants to Live Forever. It’s just so boring and seems to go on forever.

Just different strokes. I love Queen, but can't sit through "Killer Queen" for some reason, it just sonically does something to me I don't like.
My favorite Queen song is "I Want It All."

I'll be honest. I wasn't a fan of Bohemian Rhapsody for years during college and what not, due to my friends in high school playing it all the time. I got sick of it.
But now, I do enjoy it again.
Is it my favorite Queen song? No.
That currently is Too Much Love Will Kill You, Don't Stop Me Now, and this version of We Will Rock You:

I love Queen. Adam Lambert sang a version of Who Wants to Live Forever the day after the Pulse Nightclub massacre that'll give you chills. (And yes, I know he's no Freddie...)
Bohemian Rhapsody blew my mind as a kid, it was just so DIFFERENT to anything I'd heard before. I remember mum playing it for me and explaining the history of Queen and how when it came out, it wasn't like anything anyone had ever heard before. It's not my favorite song of theirs, but I still appreciate it.
My fave constantly changes. It's Dragon Attack at the moment.

We Will Rock You will always be my favorite. Such a weird, risky song.

I find myself more of a fan of their later stuff (A Kind Of Magic, The Miracle and Innuendo) more than their peak period.

I find myself more of a fan of their later stuff (A Kind Of Magic, The Miracle and Innuendo) more than their peak period. Same. There's some undeniable classics on their '70s albums, but the albums themselves are way too artsy-farty for my taste. The post-Live Aid albums are the ones that I actually love.

Not really, their output was varied enough it's easy to love some and hate others. I like the proggy/Sparks inspired Bohemian Rhapsody era but find the 80s Kind of Magic type songs rather dull.
If they kept that spun through their entire career then sure, it'd be odd, but they had something for everyone through the course of the band. Prog, stadium rock, soft rock, harder rock, movie soundtracks, folk songs, skiffle even!

It's great that a band can make music in such a varied assortment of styles that people can like some and not others, and yet all of it can still be distinctly their own.

I'm definitely over Bohemian Rhapsody as a song to listen to, but I won't lie, the one time I got to see Queen live (during the Paul Rodgers days), the second those piano chords started up you bet your ass I got goosebumps.
I generally don't have regrets about trivial things I have no control over, but being born too late to experience Freddie in all his pomp would definitely rank up there.

My mum was lucky enough to see the band with Freddie when they toured Australia, so I surprised her with tickets when Queen & Adam Lambert came here. She loved the show with Adam, but said when you saw Freddie he just had something intangible that put him in a league of his own.

I'm like that with Wuthering heights and Kate Bush.
Unfortunately I ignored her for years due to my dislike of that damn song before eventually coming to my senses.

Billy Joel is one of my all-time favorites, but I hate Piano Man.
And my Queen top 5:
1. Seaside Rendezvous 2. I'm Going Slightly Mad 3. Rock It (Prime Jive) 4. Keep Yourself Alive (specifically the 1975 retake) 5. I Was Born to Love You

Feel the same way about Roy Orbison and "Pretty Woman".
