He says all that, but what he really means is "I want to get a main event check from Saudi Arabia, brother." I guarantee you that if Vince offered him a chance to have a final match against Heath Slater or somebody like that on Raw or Main Event, Hogan would suddenly not be so sentimental about ending his career in WWE.

I was at Hogan's last appearance for TNA where Dixie clung to his leg as the show went off. The man couldn't comfortably walk the ramp.
No one should want this.

I just watched his match against Vince at WM19 the other day and it was awesome.
Do I want to see it again 16 years later? Hell no.
Look, I’d be fine with him teaming with Cena against two heels at Summerslam or something. Let Cena tag him in, he can do all his spots and drop the leg for a final time if he’s able to.
It would be a good moment and teaming with Cena would be a good sendoff for Hulk’s in ring career.

What exactly is the argument against a Hogan-Vince match in 2019? Their ages!? What exactly is the argument against a Hogan-Vince match in 2019? Leaving aside the whole racist thing, Hogan is held together with medical tape and plastic piping at this point, he cannot and should not perform his big spots. He's a legdrop away from a wheelchair after his numerous back and hip surgeries, and he's litigious as hell having spent the past decade suing various doctors and others and will go to court should he hurt himself. Vince is in his seventies and has been allegedly abusing steroids for decades which aren't good for his long term health prospects. Neither man could pass wellness on health grounds, . OK, but other than that...?

Their combined ages are 140. That's ridiculous (that anyone would want a match between them, not that they got old).
