should have sent Matt Riddle and Kassius Ohno out there and just pretend it was Jay and Silent Bob

I thought they weren’t allowed past the year 2002? WWE? WWF wasn't allowed past 2002. 😊 And if I'm a celebrity who likes wrestling, who the f*** are these companies to tell me what shows I can and can't go to? If I was Kev, I would have shown up anyways and bought somebody's front row seat or close to it. Seriously, f*** WWE. Would people really have strong feelings watching it? Who cares who is in the crowd and pimping their movie or whatever?

Smith and Jericho have been doing a watch along of Pulp Fiction on each other's podcasts, so I'm not surprised Jericho talked him into doing something with AEW. Easy as it is to jump on the "WWE are so petty" bandwagon, back in the day you'd never have seen a celebrity show up on Nitro on Monday and then on SmackDown later in the week.
Besides, unless you're putting them in a promo with Matt Riddle, when he's at his "happiest", there's no point to having Jay and Silent Bob on WWE TV.

WWE just didn't want to pay for their entrance to be performed live, by the greatest band in the world, Morris Day and the Time!

It all worked out on AEW, since Jay Mewes got to look into a mirror when Jack Evans confronted them.

If true, and I don’t really see a reason why they’d lie, that’s hilariously petty. In truth, I think WWE would've looked bad if they still had them on. This is the same WWE that squashed Kofi in 5 seconds on that SmackDown and then 2 days later made everyone forget it by committing HELL IN A CELL 2019 on its fanbase. They try to look bad for every reason possible whenever they can and laugh at their fans when they do it. They don't care about anything.

What's goofy is that if they had been on TV then it would have just looked like Mewes and Smith were making the rounds to various wrestling shows. By not letting them on TV it looks like AEW got Jay and Silent Bob for their show and WWE did not.

We’ll come to remember this as the moment the seed was planted in Kevin Smiths mind to start his own wrestling company All the matches would be in a ring on the roof of the Quick Stop.

Good, Smith deserves to be banned after Cop Out. Cop Out is a goddamn cinematic masterpiece compared to Red State, Tusk, and Yoga Hosers.

The best things Kevin Smith's done lately are the Arrowverse episodes he directed. His 2018 standup special was also really good. And it was almost his last ever show because right after taping that special is when he suffered his heart attack.

Good, Smith deserves to be banned after Cop Out. Cop Out is a goddamn cinematic masterpiece compared to Red State, Tusk, and Yoga Hosers. As unwatchable as These were. I just admire old man Kevin basicly doing whatevs the f*** he likes. We could use some of that Dudes unbridled enthusiasm and positivity. (Still...f***ing Yoga Hosers?)
