Finished watching Erased earlier. Really enjoyed it, though ending does definitely kind of fall off with how obviously rushed it is and how it's blatantly apparent the entire damn show who the killer is, but do have to wonder why on earth they didn't keep the title The Town Without Me for the English release. They not only say it constantly but it's like 10,000 times more appropriate for the narrative.

Green Blood: short but great at 49 chapters. A Gangs Of New York/Western story of revenge and brotherhood with lots of blood and none of it green. Recommend it.

Finally got my life back after working like a crazy man in July
Need to finish Vinland Saga. I did watch first episode of Zom 100 and liked it. Different take on the Zombie genre as far as approach goes

I'm watching on Netflix Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead: an anime take on the zombie apocalypse story following a salaryman who sees the ZA as an opportunity to escape his dead-end life.
Done by the creator of Alice in Borderland (best Japanese TV drama in years) I'm liking the artwork a lot. If you know someone who finds anime dull because of the art being very samey then this might be for them, the style of drawing is a lot more original than most anime fayre.
There's also a live-action film of the series just released on Netflix (very odd timing) but I'm going to stick with the cartoon for now. The theme song is smashing too.

Haven’t started the anime yet but I am reading the manga for Zom 100 and it’s a fun series, the five episodes of the anime only covers the first 2 volumes as each book is broke down into chapters, I own volumes 1-7 but have only read up to Vol 4 as of now (there’s 11/12 out atm or will be out by October)

Man, the real crazy shit hasn't even come yet Yeah after all the stuff I've heard about the Shibuya Arc I know it'll live up to the hype. Some stuff has been unavoidable but I do know most of what happens I've got no idea about.

Make the Naruto and Bleach War Arcs look childish in comparison Toji tho a f***ing boss. Considering Gojo is OP, it tells you how dangerous he is to have did what he did to him

I am following Nagatoro and Delicious in Dungeon lately, and the latter is coming closer to an end, so I am debating if I should get into another series or maybe try to do stuff like chip away at having not seen a ton of anime films.

I highly recommend Undead Murder Farce, it just wrapped today and wow that ruled. So confident, stylish, fun and unlike anything else I watched this season.
2nd most fav this season was Masterful Cat that was cute AF.

Haven't watched much anime this summer due to being incredibly busy at work, but for June, I did watch Adachi and Shimamura. I found it quite wholesome.

I recommend the books as well, I think the anime adapted the first 3 or 4 books. All of it is very good though regardless of the medium. (Though I am biased to anything about Adachi and Shimamura, see my avatar)

I thought it was adorable how shy Adachi is, not to mention how on point the comparison of her being like that cute, adorable puppy that Shimamura mentioned. That part got a giggle from me, lol.

There's a live-action Erased TV series that is pretty good. It's low budget like most J-doramas but I believe it was more warmly received by fans of the manga (which I haven't read) than the anime for being more faithful to it. It is on Netflix I believe. There's also a live-action film which I haven't seen.

Pluto on Netflix is a murder mystery set in a far future where humans, advanced AI, and human-like robots live in an uneasy coexistence. Characters from the Astroboy franchise appear. The creator is Naoki Urasawa (Monster, 20th Century Boys) so realistic art and a suspenseful plot with a few twists are traits. Well recommended.

I've been reading Eorzea Academy, a one-shot Final Fantasy XIV manga based in an alternate universe where the characters are faculty and students in a modern Japanese-style high school. Lots of amusing in-jokes from inside the game and among the fanbase. It's a really fun, fluff read.
