Teaser doesn't really give you anything to go off of in terms of the quality, but their Dracula look is really hokey. Like I feel like someone bought a cheap $20 Halloween costume of him they'd look exactly the same.

Gatiss writing really doesn't give me much hope for this. An Adventure In Space And Time was a good script, but other than that, his writing efforts have ranged from ok to downright awful.

This has the potential to be gloriously shitty and I'm here for it.

I'm guessing it's intentionally modelled after Lugosi's Dracula, but as iconic as that is, that look would only work now in a tongue in cheek way, which this doesn't look to be. Looks good for a laugh.

Full series is on Netflix now. Anyone watching it? Or watched it on BBC ONE? First two episodes were great, but really should have been an hour so the twists could have some impact. I guess I'm just more a fan of Moffat's mind-bending than his action sequences. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Dracula winding up in the 21st century and being confronted by diet coke Torchwood with the identical descendent of his previous nemesis was stretching it The third episode is getting savaged on twitter. Might wait another weekend before watching it.

Watched over the last three days, enjoyed the first two episodes and the major twist.
Found Dracula to be charming but also scary and gory, even had some good body horror.
Did not like the 3rd episodes ending, felt it Was a damp squib after everything had built up.
Kind of standard for how Moffat and Gatiss do things these days, great ideas and visuals but just can’t get satisfying endings right.

I like how the decrepit firm of Dracula sounded like the car insurance meerkat.
