Yeah for when the internet goes down. I work in retail, and honestly this. I've seen people stocking up on physical media with the mentality that one day very very soon Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. are going to be just as bad as cable companies. As more prevalent as digital media becomes, the demand for physical media will go up.

I too am a physical media guy. The way streaming services just drop/edit content without warning, I like having my own copies. I’m glad I have physical copies of many of the old PPVs and TV shows. I could see WWE trimming down the Network archive one day and getting rid of that stuff from the 80s and 90s that I love to watch.

I don't understand why they even bother putting out the PPVs still. Is there anyone who was really absolutely dying to own a physical copy of Stomping Grounds? You don't want to have to explain what that "GREAT BALLS OF FIRE" on your shelf is all about?

I use Netflix, but cancelled my WWE network subscription back in 2016. I'm very much still in to buying physical copies of shows or compilations, though I think the most recent WWE DVD I bought was 'The Road is Jericho'. However I'm very much in to the Tagged Classics.

Once the Network became a thing, they really, really started half assing the DVD releases. They used to be f***ing phenomenal, but then they started doing less and less.
The ECW one was so good, I watch it and think “I have to go back and see this shit”. Then I try and remember by and large why I hate ECW. Mostly Joey Styles.

At least WWE releases free matches on youtube every so often.
But it's not the same...

I remember having like 10 copies of the first Shield DVD. I'm down to one, now lol. I enjoy the biography sets/unreleased stuff.

If I really like/want something I buy it on DVD because it can disappear from a streaming service in an instant at their whim for any reason (or no reason).

By the way if anyone wants to buy Judgment Day 02, or Vengeance 02, there are scammers out there who try to pass off the Canadian versions as the US releases. Easiest way to tell is by the Koch logos on the spine, and on the back. Just something to be on the lookout for. I'm Canadian and bought Vengeance 2002 when it came out in stores up here. What exactly is wrong with the Canadian versions?

What exactly is wrong with the Canadian versions? I'm sure there's nothing wrong with it but if someone is collecting U.S DVDs they might specifically want the U.S release of it as opposed to the Canadian version (also I assume the Canadian release isn't as rare as the U.S one).

It's not that there is anything wrong with them, but they were produced in much greater quantities than the US versions which were only sold on WWE's site. Some people try to trick others into thinking they are getting the US version, but instead its the Canadian Koch version.
