Really hope it isn't anything serious. Maybe this will finally get them the hell out of the blood money.

Not a plane or weather issue. There's something quite disgusting about the way they've left everyone worrying "Catch our radio show tomorrow to find out if everyone's going to die!"

Jokes aside, Flair, the women, Hogan, Brock, Fury, Cain all appear solid contenders for the "12 talents on that plane that got out".

If this doesn’t dissuade the company as a whole, then this may be the tipping point for some of the talents that it’s just not worth the money. Buddy Murphy has put out “Never again” in a tweet, so he’s probably done with these shows. I can’t imagine Ali would want to do these again, even if he tries to get his money to worthy causes.

hopefully if people refuse to go, it starts with the top talent, and everybody as each other's back

PWInsider reports that the affected talents have gone back to their hotels in Riyadh, so... That could be ballgame, many of those guys are gonna miss TV.
And then there’s the Pandora’s box of how long this could take and whether this could impact the European tour. That starts next week, like.

Will say if nothing else regardless of whether I have the security to get out of it like a Daniel Bryan, even if everyone turns out fine I would absolutely refuse to ever do a Saudi show after this, consequences be damned. The money and the job aren't worth this sort of danger and uncertainty. Yeah, there's going to be a whole f***load of wrestlers that refuse to go after this. And really, the company wouldn't be able to do anything to them unless they want to take a huge PR hit.

Yikes! Hope the guys get home sooner than later. Always had the feeling something like this would happen. Praying nothing worse happens.

Online fans have been worked into a frenzy over very little, due to sloppy journalism. I hope, in a way, that is just sloppy journalism at work and it’s not as serious as the implications suggest.

I understand getting the women out, but if you can only get a few others out, why the guys who won't work again for a few weeks or more? Unless they plan on doing an extended fallout with Brock and Cain, get the people out who people have paid to see on SD. All in all I hope everyone gets out without issue.

Sloppy journalism, or the country they're stuck in? If they were stuck somewhere like Britain, it wouldn't be a huge deal, but this is Saudi Arabia. There's a reason a lot of fans have not been comfortable with this deal, a lot of fans left after it was announced that Blood Money would continue after Khashoggi, and why we're not buying this is mechanical. The country doesn't exactly have the best track record. I understand getting the women out, but if you can only get a few others out, why the guys who won't work again for a few weeks or more? Unless they plan on doing an extended fallout with Brock and Cain, get the people out who people have paid to see on SD. All in all I hope everyone gets out without issue. Brock has his own plane, so he was able to get out quicker and take some people with him.

On WOR, they didn't really say much, just confirming it was not a weather issue. They were on the plane, and then told to leave the plane.

Dale Gas showed more personality in that small clip than his entire tv career so far.
Seriously, though, I’m glad it’s ‘only’ a plane issue and not something more sinister, but it sucks for these guys, and I really hope more talent refuse to go next time.

I share scepticism of Dave's reports, yeah he has his sources backstage but I doubt that extends to the inner workings of the SA government..however the longer this goes on the dodgier it looks, Riyadh is a transport hub they could find space on other flights, there's been no abnormal weather conditions that I've heard of...looks very dodgy the money in the deal and Vince being personal friends with a powerful man partial to a red baseball cap who has connections over there only adds a bit of fuel to the fire.

Brock has his own plane, so he was able to get out quicker and take some people with him. I’m not disagreeing with that. I was echoing the sentiments I quoted that ‘the tune into the radio show’ tweet seemed tacky, given the circumstances. I’m being optimistic that given how there’s a lot of suggestion and nothing concrete, it’s not so serious. Yeah, this is why I’m waiting. Online fans have been worked into a frenzy over very little, due to sloppy journalism. In my initial post, I was thinking of stories like ‘Sasha is on the floor crying!’ or ‘Corey cheated on his wife with Carmella’ that got out of mileage but then turned out to be outright false or incomplete. I really hope this is nothing serious.

I'm wondering if this "non-plane, non-weather" issue is the result of familial politics. The Saudi royal family is notoriously large and the succession is almost never settled (unlike, say, the European monarchies or the Commonwealth realms.) This could be a family member/minister flexing his muscle to make MBS look bad on the deal.

What a story to wake up to.
Get everyone out of that nightmare country and as soon as they're safe, end the deal and go straight to the media about why you'll never go back.
