They've teased this match for Triplemania Regia on December 1st. At the press conference L.A Park mentioned the idea of the apuesta match, which was then followed by a shoving match between he and Blue Demon Jr.
Now given this is AAA and L.A Park (Two of the most unpredictable entities in the business) there's a solid chance this might just be talk, but if it's not? Holy shit!
I'm not an expert on Lucha history by any stretch, but this would have to be one of the biggest matches ever in Mexico right?
Blue Demon Jr. A living legend whose mask is one of the most iconic in all of lucha libre, Vs. L.A Park, arguably the biggest draw in Mexico, who has such massive star power he can get booked in the two biggest companies in Mexico without ever signing a contract with either, and has simultaneously competed in both in the past.
This is the kind of match that is massive in a way that no match in the States has been for decades: It's a match that I honestly can't picture either man losing, but either way the entire lucha world changes massively.
But again, given this is AAA and LA Park, there's like a 50/50 shot of this actually happening.

It would be a huge deal but mask vs mask challenges get thrown around all the time. More often than not they rarely amount to anything. I’m not saying it’s impossible. Just unlikely. Would definitely be one of the higher profile mask vs mask matches if it happened though.

This feels like one of those "They rip off the mask to reveal another mask" endings

Honestly if this event didn’t have the Triplemania name I wouldn’t take it seriously but if they’re going to use the name they would need a Triplemania worthy main event, and it doesn’t get much bigger than that. I agree it’s still unlikely but possible.

Someone might have been given a big enough number to hang up their hood and wind down their career. It’s certainly possible. Dr. Wagner Jr. got a huge payday from AAA to do it.

Like I said, it’s hard to imagine either one of them losing their mask which is why I would love to see this match. I think Demon actually did retire a few years ago, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s heading out again soon. I never thought you were dismissing it.

I legit thought Parka was dead and that Demon retired years ago.

They've got a few semi-big potential apuesta matches built up if they need one on here, maybe LA Park vs Pagano or Psycho Clown vs Rey Escorpion. Neither's on the level of recent Triplemania main events, but I'm not sure they really want to blow something that big on a new event that's only going to have about a month's buildup. My guess would be they're going to sell this show around Rush's AAA debut (which isn't confirmed but sure sounds likely) plus Kenny Omega's first title defense.

I legit thought Parka was dead and that Demon retired years ago. LA Park has been in MLW under Selina De la Renta, one of the best managers in the game today.

If it happens, the only way I could see Park losing his mask is if a debuting Rush runs in and costs him the match. Establishes their feud in AAA while building off of their past.

I'd say there's next to no chance it's happening on that show. It's standard for lucha veterans to work their own angles and tease things that aren't in the plans and is just them going to business for themselves.

Honestly half of me is extremely optimistic and hoping to see it in December. The other half of me feels that if this match is going to happen (which is a possibility however small) it'll be at Triplemania XXVIII.
