Seems like show's mostly reviewing well thus far, though even with that I really find myself with very little inclination to watch it. I dunno, maybe'll give it a look this evening if I can't find anything else.

Why do I get the feeling this was something Margot Robbie pitched? She was approached to voice Harley, but turned them down. Too busy with her own garbage version of the character, I suppose. Margot Robbie's a very in-demand actress and most of her other projects and performances are much more acclaimed than Suicide Squad. It's not like she's just sitting around all day, thinking of ways to make Harley Quinn more edgy and in your face. |

It's not like she's just sitting around all day, thinking of ways to make Harley Quinn more edgy and in your face. All live-action Harley properties are now being developed and produced by LuckyChap Entertainment, a production company run by... Margot Robbie, so yeah, while she's obviously a very busy actress, the direction of the character going forward is very much laid at her doorstep. |

I'll check it out, might be good. Lots of first episodes/season/trailers are really just rough goes and stuff gets better as time goes, so I'll give it a season or two B4 deciding

I like how Bane has the Rises voice. The rest of it feels like it's trying way too hard. The story etc seems fine; just feels like they decided to just say f*** a lot as some sort of attempt at edge. Just feels inauthentic. I love that a lazy Tom Hardy impression is the go to parody voice for Bane now. To this day I nearly cry laughing every time Bane drops the “That was unnecessary” line in LEGO Batman |

Yeah, I don't think this is for me. The show biggest mistake is making everyone that is not Joker or Ivy into out of character jokes. You can keep a more serious world and have a fun Harley - That is a big part of her appeal! When tou drag everyone to that level of joke you rob yourself the chance of good stories and of the appa of your character. |

Basically Venture Bros-ish. I see why they put the episode out there, since I feel like that's doing a way better job of getting people interested than the trailers have.

I got caught up on this recently, and while it stumbles a bit out the gate I honestly think the show is f***ing great. Gives me a Lego Batman vibe, where they keep the core concept of the character but then make a total caricature out of them. And funny, I honest to god laugh out loud at least once an episode. Usually more then once.

Decided to binge it cause Season 2 is coming next month and am dying laughing quite often. Bane's voice is hilarious. Love that also there are pretty obscure characters like Dr. Psycho. It's a strange trip
