For me I think it's Nosferatu but there might be something older, not 100% on it.

The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) - Watched it for a film project way back, truly bizzarre but also very good.

L’Inferno (1911). An Italian silent film which was the first film adaptation of Dante’s Divine Comedy. Some really innovative effects and cinematography for its time, to convey the Hellish and supernatural images.

That's just 1962. Time to do a dive into the first half of the 20th century! It's actually an exciting position to be in, there's a whole world of earlier cinema for you to explore.

If this is strictly about live action feature films, The Wizard of Oz.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs if we're including animated features.

Mines Nosferatu too, I suppose but I’m glad I finally watched Casablanca for the first time in the last few years. Pretty awesome movie I ignored for a while cause it seemed “old”.
