Shelley vs. Cabana

Caprice mentioning that Cabana is a champ in NWA, interesting.
And yeah, this being a first time match is kind of a shock; Generation Next's first major feud as a faction in ROH was against the Second City Saints, after all, pretty surprising it didn't happen back in '04 to at least set up a Punk/Shelley match or something.

I know Punk had one match with Shelley during the time when Shelley was trying to do his redemption after getting kicked out of Generation Next, but yeah surprising they didn't have Colt and Shelley face off.

God, I love watching Shelley work, and I hope his tweet about wanting to work NJPW again this coming year comes true.

Why is the crowd booing Haskins so much in this? I didn't think the match picked up any steam and the cheese grater bit was way too exaggerated. Lame match for a long drawn out feud. If anything, I'd boo the match.

Anyone think this was Colt's final ROH match? If what Mercury posted is anything to go by, might well be.

Credit to Taylor, he's been doing some really good work as champ.
Just makes it all the more baffling that, again going by the Mercury tweets, they're pushing him this hard and then possibly letting him go.

If I can ask, has anyone ever won a title in Mexico, Japan and The US in a year's span?
