Yikes we have Mania Week drama: Josh Barnett has pulled Chris Dickinson out of the ICW event against Takeda so Dickinson can have his best effort against Suzuki at Bloodsport. The ICW owner isnt happy and is furious at Josh Barnett (this isnt a storyline, both companies have nothing to do with the other)

Its a loose association since they share Danny Demanto. But the Bloodsport brand under GCW is booked by Josh Barnett Demanto was cut out of GCW several months ago. He's no longer affiliated with them at all. Wow. Any info out there as to why? |

Two curious things to bring up as we approach the big weekend
- Scott Steiner has multiple bookings for this weekend. Due to his recent healh scare, are his matches off?
- How much of this event will be affected by the Coronavirus? In terms of both talent and attendance there might be concerns, ESPECIALLY if we get to that point where WrestleMania in fact gets cancelled/moved/postponed.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder what'll happen here if WM gets canceled/delayed.
Selfishly, I have Spring Break tickets that I learned I couldn't use, but if everything got delayed for a little while I'd be able to make it, which would be great for me, but I really don't want to see this weekend get thrown off given how important it is to so much indy and international talent. There are people who make absolute bank this weekend and use it as a chance to break even for the year, either as a wrestler or a promotion, and lots of lesser known people who put on great shows and get noticed on bigger stages, and the last thing I want is to see people hurt by this, but the chance of widespread shutdowns is getting higher and higher, especially with Tampa being an area with reported virus cases already.

What could this mean for some of the indy wrestlers if they're not able to get bookings for possibly the rest of this year, if the disease is still rampant in the U.S. by fall? |

To me, the least shocking possible cancellation would be the meet and greet conventions. I could see them still running the shows, but a lot of the talent drawing people to the Meet and Greets are older legends that may not be in the best health.

Man, so Wrestlecon is all or nothing, and GCW is going for it barring some kind of edict from the city/state itself.
I'd so much rather they postpone largely for selfish reasons, given that there reason I couldn't travel was because of a work commitment I didn't know about when I first bought tickets to Spring Break, but I can't imagine the insanity involved in trying to reschedule so many different shows, drawing talent from so many different corners of the globe, all while so much of people's travel schedules will revolve in large part around what WWE decides to do regarding Mania should Tampa call for cancellations. I don't envy anybody who has to make the big decisions at a time like this, and where this all goes still remains to be seen.
