Like, I'm seriously looking forward to watching this on 5Star in UK, we get it on Friday here, but, holy shit that show seemed so fun, it captured the vibe of old school rasslin' with the goofy gimmicks, the outfits and it looked like it would've been a hoot to be there and watching it live! Throwback Throwdown is something that reminds people that wrestling is entertainment, it should be fun and, while, of course, every show shouldn't be like this; it was awesome to see not only the fans but the talent clearly have so much damn fun. The Rascalz as Bill Ding, Jim Nasium and Ray Stracks were brilliant, Dez as Jim and just doing the jumping jacks, Trey constantly shaving his mustache as Bill Ding in the middle of the match and Wentz as Ray Stracks just running around the ring with his hands like a steering wheel had me in stitches, that was one of the funniest things, wrestling or otherwise, I've seen in a while! Not to mention the stars of the show, for me, The Rough Riders, I mean, Tessa was really channeling the influence of both Tully and Magnum, all that was missing was the mullet and, hell, it's the most personality that Jordynne Grace has shown in ages and just seeing Tessa and Jordynne ham it up in the background of Jessicka's promo was brilliant stuff. I hope that Throwback Throwdown becomes a yearly thing because Impact have got something really great here. Also, no joke, Tessa and Jordynne should just wear the Rough Riders merch if they ever enter the tag team scene, they did appear interested in challenging The North for the Impact tag straps, If I recall correctly?

I did enjoy it, but I'm not as into wrestling as comedy. We already have NWA Powerrr as a satire of 80's wrestling shows every week, we don't need Impact pretending that they actually are in the 80's.
I really dug the Rough Riders as a stable though, I want it to become a real thing instead of a joke.

It's just a bit of fun, if they did it every week, then that'd be a different matter, but if they did it, say, once a year, I think it'd be a nice change of pace.

Anyone have a link I can watch this? Their twitch doesn't show it from the beginning as far as I can see.

I loved Johnny Swinger just being Johnny Swinger for it.

I loved Johnny Swinger just being Johnny Swinger for it. That newcomer has quite the future in the business.

I finally got to watch this a couple of nights ago. As I said in another thread my Thanksgiving vacation put me way behind on my usual wrestling viewing. The show was great, I really enjoyed it. As others have said I would love to see this become a Thanksgiving week tradition for Impact. Something lite and fun to kick off the holiday season just feels right. My only complaint about the whole show was the guy in the crowd with the "cult of impact" sign. Why the hell was he allowed to bring that in? I would love to know more details about this show if anybody has them. When and where was this filmed? Was it a paying audience? Who are the guys on the show that weren't Impact regulars?
