So comparing these Disney Afternoon little girl characters. Webby, Molly, and Pistol.
For the record, Gosalyn is not included because she is too old, this about the really young little girl characters.
For me, I am going with Molly. I don't know, I think she gets a bad rap, not as bad as people say. Is the only one of the three voiced by a actually child actress, so maybe that helps. Not have adult women trying to act all custy. Pistol is a unique case, a lot of times she suppose to be a brat, so does that disqualify her form all this?

Molly, because Tale Spin was an awesome show. We need more kid’s media with that kind of Art Deco retro-future style. The only other cartoon I think really pulled that off was My Life As A Teenage Robot, and Tale Spin usually had better writing. Molly worked best when she played off different characters, like Kit and the episode with the squid, or when Molly adopted a creature that could grow big, Louie and the Christmas special, etc.

Guessing we're not counting, like, modern Webby, eh? It'd be her, if so.
I'll vote her, anyway, mostly just since I barely even remember Molly, and Pistol I mostly just remember by name.

I can't unsee a certain fan's "art" about Molly online.
Since I'm a Rescue Rangers guy, I'll go off the board and vote for Tammy from Adventures in Squirrelsitting. Oh, Chipper!

I think Molly gets my vote, though all three characters are fine. But you can tell Molly and Webby are characters that the writers had no idea what to do with most of the time so they more or less get written off of the majority of their shows (Molly just vanishes for most of the second half of TaleSpin and makes like two appearances at the tail end, and Webby is far less frequent after season two.)

Also Talespin didn't do the whole boys vs girls crap that Ducktales did. At least with the kids characters. There was this one episode Baloo dressed in drag to proove a point to a sexist pilot. The only other child character on the show as Kit, who was more of a big brother type of relationship, Molly didn't have any peers that was like "ill girls, girls suck" that you had with Webby and the nephews. Actually I never see Molly with any friends her own age. There was the little kid that was the gradnson of Baloo's driving instructor, but she and Molly never meet.

Also I think the writers liked Rebecca better as the business woman than the mother. Watching some old Talespin on Disney+ and the Baloo and Rebecca go on an adventures together, sort of reminds me a little bit of David and Maddie from Moonlighting, and last time I checked Maddie didn't have a kid.
