So Spotify has done it's yearly summery of what everyone's been listening to, thought it'd be cool to share what we have.
This was my first year using it, so my number 1 song and artist are ones I think I played when I didn't have much else on and was "training it"
So, my top 5 most played artists of the year:
1. Professor Elemental Very British steampunk rapper. I like him, but wouldn't have had him anywhere near my top 5
2.Lizzo So glad she's really broken through this year, saw her live and just amazing music, energy, positivity
3. Die Antwoord One of those bands I'm shocked I didn't get into sooner, so much energy, so much fun, another spectacular live act.
4. Pet Shop Boys My favourite band of all time, no surprise they're in the mix. Can't wait for their new album in January
5. Gunship Really got into synthwave this year, would have thought it might be FM-84 or The Midnight, but considering how much I'm in love with "When You Grow Up Your Heart Dies" I can see what happened.
As for my top songs, lots of old stuff in there which I'm not surprised at, I feel like I've discovered a TON of new music but just around the house it's so easy to throw on an old tune.
1. I won't let the Sun Go Down on Me- Nik Kershaw 2. I want Your Love- Transvision Vamp 3. You Came- Kim Wilde 4. To the Moon and Back- Savage Garden 5. Murder on the Dance Floor - Sophie Ellis-Bexter 6. Dancing On My Own- Robyn 7. Around The Bend- Asteroids Galaxy Tour 8. Creep City- Jake Shear 9. Good As Hell- Lizzo 10.When You Grow Up Your Heart Dies- Gunship

my top 5 was weird.
1. The Fall 2. WWF 3. Jim Johnston 4. Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies 5. The Muffs.
didn't realise I had listened to that much of the fall this year, and also having the mounties theme and the American males theme on repeat did my other numbers in!

I can't figure out how to get the summary. All I see is the playlist. Can anybody give me a hand?

Apparently I really like Lorde and the song gypsies, tramps an theives. Never would have called that. Other than that it's my usual mix of Johnny Cash and 90s bands. I can't figure out how to get the summary. All I see is the playlist. Can anybody give me a hand? It's weird. I had the same in the app on my phone. Logged in via the wrapped page on my phone's browser then it opened properly in the app.

My daughter royally screwed up my Spotify listen list. She apparently left the Hamilton Broadway soundtrack running for like two weeks straight on my account, so the entire Top 10 is that. My Decade Music review was actually kind of interesting: Top Song2011 - 'You Learn' by Takida 2012 - 'Derezzed' by Daft Punk 2013 - 'See Who I Am' by Within Temptation 2014 - 'Ghost Love Score (Live at Wacken 2013)' by Nightwish 2015 - 'Prom Night' by Anamanaguchi 2016 - 'Love Letter - by berrygood 2017 - 'At the Break of Dawn' by Arion feat. Elize Ryd of Amaranthe 2018 - 'On Point' by Old Man Saxon 2019 - 'First Burn' by the Original Broadway Cast of Hamilton Top Artist2011 - Pendulum 2012 - Daft Punk 2013 - Within Temptation 2014 - Cher (...wtf?) 2015 - Metallica 2016 - berrygood 2017 - The Midnight 2018 - Childish Gambino 2019 - Original Broadway Cast of Hamilton Sucks that my 2019 got completely wiped out thanks to my kid, going to have to get her a separate account for Christmas so I can keep a more accurate account of my listening tastes of the year lol. EDIT: For those who want to see their summary, go here: www.spotify.com/us/wrapped/?
