www.postwrestling.com/2019/12/06/pollocks-news-update-teddy-hart-released-by-mlw/*MLW sent out a notice on Friday that they have come to terms on the release of Teddy Hart. MLW did not elaborate on the circumstances behind the release. Hart lost the MLW middleweight title to Myron Reed last month in Orlando and was written off television with the fireball attack by Josef Samael. The initial idea behind the fireball angle was to set up a feud between the Hart Foundation and CONTRA Unit with Hart coming back in January, but those plans changed and ended up being his final appearance. Hart was not at the tapings on Thursday night, but the release was said to be agreed upon over the past day.

I wonder what he did this time. Posted this in the MLW thread: They released Teddy Hart today. Not sure why but I assume he did something stupid. There's a story that's popped back up in the news lately about a woman named Samantha Fiddler, who used to use the ring names Lucy Morningstar and Samantha Steel, who disappeared back in 2016. She and Teddy used to date, and her case was brought up again recently. What's more, since Chasyn Rance got his DUI there's been some buzz that Teddy might've done some custom videos with him under an alias, and given Rance's track record that's got a lot of people incredibly antsy. Teddy says he hasn't done anything untoward or beyond the scope of typical wrestling videos with Rance, and says he and Fiddler weren't together when she disappeared, but all the stuff coming up at once has made promotions want some distance from him, I'm guessing at least until some more details come out that might help his case...or hurt it, I suppose, anything's possible.

If it's just caution, then maybe he'd be brought back in once questions were answered, but that does not sound good at all.

Yeah, I’ve been hearing those grimey rumors for a minute now. Definitely seems sketch. I’m supposed to see him in a month at bar wrestling, wonder if he’ll still be there.

Yikes. The problem Teddy has now is he's spent the past few decades being erratic to the point nobody dare give him the benefit of the doubt when stuff like this surfaces. Anything's considered possible when you've spent this long being widely considered a lunatic.

I don't have the energy for more of this from wrestlers. I need to sleep for a year before the next episode of Dynamite even.s

I saw him twice in about three months this year at WrestleCircus and VIP Wrestling, and at each show what I’m presuming is his girlfriend (looks about 20 years younger than him with rainbow dyed hair) was ringside with his cat.
This is a profoundly strange man.

I wonder what he did this time. My first thought reading the thread title as well.

Anything's considered possible when you've spent this long being widely considered a lunatic. The fact that he's actively associating with the likes of Chasyn Rance, and then denying it until photo evidence showing he was at Rance's dojo the day he said he wasn't isn't really helping his cause.

Well, this isn’t going to end well.
Am I reading correctly that one of his ex-gf’s disappeared?

Linking him to a missing person’s case is a very serious accusation, and one that to my knowledge the police have not made. Maybe slow our roll on that unless like, a lot more comes to light.

And while this is going on him releasing erratic youtube videos with Maria Manic where they both seem unwell also doesn’t help.

It's not a bad show, I just don't have as much time to watch wrestling as I used to so I'm dropping some shows from my viewing schedule.

For what it's worth, I heard somewhere that Teddy Hart was actually in jail at the time of her disappearance and he isn't even considered a person of interest in this case.

If this is on the up and up, then my fan-booking of Hart vs Rhodes for the TV title feud is coming to fruition

Update from PWInsider: pwinsider.com/article/132010/mlw-removes-ach-from-website-more-on-teddy-hart-release.html?p=1Basically, Teddy's ego and insecurities started flaring up again over the last several months. Increasingly selfish in matches, no-showing pre-tapes and the MLW/Crash event in Mexico, and then asked for a release when he thought the company wasn't defending him against the allegations (old and new) that recently came up. As I said in an earlier thread, I think he's going to be the next Brian Christopher. If he won't keep in check for the biggest opportunity he's had in years, including teaming with his cousin, he's pretty much a lost cause. I hate saying it, but at this point, it feels like a question of when and not if.

Just to be clear I wasn’t saying that he was involved in her disappearance, it was more of a “I had no idea that was a thing that happened”. The Rance stuff is almost certainly going to end up badly though.
