Like, that's one of the many reasons why I'm happy not to be anyone special or famous, because it doesn't matter if it's a singer, a wrestler, an actor or whatever, you always get these dickheads who jam a camera into their face at insanely early hours after a long flight and try to get them to take a picture, even though it's obvious that said person just wants their personal space.
Famous people are just like us, people shouldn't use the reasoning of 'Oh, they're famous, so they have to just sit there and take all this intrustion of privacy'; I know that if I was ever famous enough to the point where people were hounding me at airports like often happens with wrestlers, I'd try and calmly explain to them that I'd rather just be left alone, and if they persisted, I'd just take their camera and hurl it on the ground; because what're the f***ing dickheads going to do about it? Cry to airport security??
It's just baffling also how people get really offended when celebs aren't enthusiastic and happy when these airport encounters happen, like, what reaction do you expect them to have? Be happy that some twat has somehow found out what gate they got off the plane at and then get a camera or a piece of paper thrust in front of them at 2am??
Honestly, these fans do deserve to get punched square in the face, but because that's assault and a no go, so smashing the camera of one of these tools is the next best thing. I'm surprised we don't hear about celebs doing this more often?

That's why I choose to do meet-and-greets. It's in a much different environment and interaction is expected. I remember when I went to a casino for a hip-hop concert and after the show, I saw members of Color Me Badd walking around. Even a lady called for his attention and he cordially waved at them. However, I saw Rob Base walking through the casino and was talking on the phone. Initially I thought about coming up to him but I decided not to. He was talking on the phone and I didn't want to bother him.
Also, I cringe every time I see THAT picture with that guy and Sasha Banks. It's so obvious that she was none-too-pleased about it. It didn't help that someone made socks of how Sasha looked in that picture.

Yeah, I remember going to a 5 Star event in Newcastle and had a meet and greet with Rey Mysterio, who was a pretty chill guy and joked about how chilly Newcastle is, but I looked over and saw Jimmy Havoc standing behind a barricade that was set up for the venue on his phone, for the smallest of moments I was considering going over to him and ask for an autograph, but, it took me, like, a millisecond to register that the last person I'd want to piss off is Jimmy Havoc...that, and because you don't interrupt anyone when they're on their phone.

It's likely 99% of people hounding celebrities at airports are not actual fans but autograph dealers, they will probably have a stack of 20 photos (all the same) for them to sign, they will give true fans and autograph collectors like me (I am mostly a convention collection) a bad name
